Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this replacement RV Sliding Mirror Door Catch. That's alright folks. So this will replace the door catch on your RV sliding mirror door. Now that can work both universally on large and small catches. It does come with the included hardware screws.
You get two of them guys. You got the screw holes here in the bottom of this plastic piece. You can see the design all that there. It's gonna catch really nice, as far as some dimensions on this guy, I got 1-1/2" tall at the tallest part, 1-1/2" wide on the front part, 5/8" tall on the short part there on the front, 1-3/8" from back to front on the curb and 1-1/2" on that very, very top back to the front. And again, you can always pause this video or scroll down on this product page to see those dimensions as well.

The latch is a very tight fit to the door. It’s much tighter that needed, it makes it difficult to open and close. I think anyone with limited hand strength would struggle getting the door in and out if they have the same door as I do on my 2019 cougar futfh wheel.
These keep braking.
This is not the 1st set I have purchased.
My closet doors may be a little wide for these clips

I bought a pair of door catches. Im on my 2nd one. The first one broke.
It is a slightly tighter fit than the one that was built onto our Crusade Prime Time 5th wheel closet mirrors but did the trick!
Although the item looks identical, once installed you have to force the sliding mirror into the catch and once secured in the catch it is very difficult to push the catch open to slide the mirror out. It takes using both thumbs pressing forcibly to open the catch. I had to file the sharp edge to reduce the contact area touching the mirror frame to make it less difficult to slide the mirror away from the catch. Still it takes too much force to open the catch.
Only gave four stars because it fits so tight it’s really hard to unlatch, looks like it’s is of good quality, hopefully it will loosen a bit with use. Super fast processing and shipping. will use again.
Was too stiff/snug on our 2007 Dutchman Colorado fifth wheel. I had to use lineman’s pliers to bend back the clip and slide open the mirror door. I will have to look for an alternative or put a pair of pliers near the doors.
Good replacement for original part.
This catch is the right measurement but it is way to ridged. It is impossible to move it enough to release the door for opening. The original catch is made with much thinner material and is flexable. Please advise me on the next move.

The product was as stated, however; after a few uses broke.
Why too stiff. I had to modify to make it work.
The part turned out to be smaller than original but we made it work. Ordering and receiving went smoothly.
