The 2 secondary arms flex to allow the blade to conform to the shape of your windshield better than standard frames can. The secondary arms also provide strong lateral support to the wiper. The SmartFlex hinges are designed to work together with the secondary arms, enhancing their ability to hold down the ends of the blade. The secondary arms transfer downward pressure to 4 tertiary arms, resulting in a total of 8 pressure points along the blade for even windshield contact. Fast Installation with EZ LOK Connectors

To install the blade, rotate the connector piece on the blade to fit the type of connector that's on your car. (Some wiper arm styles require that you replace the standard connector on the blade with one of the included alternate connectors.) Then clip the wiper blade onto the car's connector. The wiper blade will click into place so that you know it's securely installed.
