Unlike slide-bar models, the rounded, two-piece jaw on this fifth-wheel trailer hitch inhibits rattle and movement by securely wrapping around your trailer's king pin, resulting in easier hookup and a safer, quieter ride.
Get peace of mind with Curt's color-coded lock indicator. Just look at the indicator - either the one on the handle or the one on the hitch itself - to determine whether the jaw is in the correct position to uncouple (red), couple (yellow) or tow (green).
Curt's unique spherical axial bearing provides a durable pivot point that allows easy, 360-degree movement of the hitch head. This ball joint is designed for smooth, quiet operation with less clunking and chucking.
Most often used on trucks with 6' and 6-1/2' beds, this roller helps to eliminate clearance problems during slow-speed turns. When you are towing a fifth-wheel trailer, your hitch must be situated on the cab side of your truck's rear axle. However, at slow speeds you can use a roller to slide the fifth-wheel hitch (and the trailer) toward your truck's tailgate and past the rear axle, creating enough space between the cab of your truck and the trailer to permit less-restricted turning.
Non-Binding Design
The round-tube design of this slider allows for relatively uninhibited movement of your fifth-wheel hitch. Because your hitch can glide smoothly and easily along the rods, there is less chance of binding.
With straight, flat contact points, as found with square-tube sliders, tension can build between the slider and the hitch when your truck and trailer are somewhat out of line or are on uneven ground. As a result, it can be difficult to properly activate the slider when your truck and trailer are not in a straight line.
With a round-tube slider, there is more give between the contacting surfaces, allowing better mobility of the hitch system. Fewer corners means less tension buildup. Activating a round-tube slider is easier, and operation as a whole is smoother.

Easiest item I have ever installed on my truck. 4 bolts to set it up then dropped the entire assembly into the Ramming bed puck system. Plan to haul our 5th wheel rv with this. The slider will help if we get into tight area at the rv park. Simly to use. Love it
Curt A20 5th Wheel Hitch Fifth Wheel Hitch 2018 Ram 2500 This was not easy choice to make as I tend to try top save money. But with my truck and the puck system this has been an excellent purchase. The removable pin let's me pull the top of the hitch off while leaving the rest in the truck. This allows me to store it in front of the adapter rails. Then my roll up bed cover clears the top while the rest is still mounted. Dry, secure out of site out of mind while shopping or parked at RV park overnight. The slider allows the extra clearance to give you peace of mind you will not damage your truck while backing into tight spaces on a serious angle. Then of course the top comes off with that pin making the entire thing lighter to remove when taking the entire assembly out of the truck. IT is manageable but still better to use the tractor bucket or hoist as it is heavy duty. No issues and very happy with this purchase and the continued great service from etrailer! I pulled a 34 ft 5th wheel 1800 miles at average of 75mph. Did not even know the trailer was back there when the wind was not blowing. Thanks again for helping me put this package together and having the lowest price while doing it!
I love the way it sits and fits in my truck. The instructions and installation were very clear and easy to follow and assemble. And there is still room to have my tool box’s and a chain between the 5th wheel and my tailgate. My tank cover fits perfectly over the top and my support bars don’t touch the 5th wheel either.
I am very happy with this 5th wheel.It works just like all the descriptions said it would. It will make pulling our camper a breeze.

I bought a 5th Wheel camper on May 13th. On the 14 I started shopping for a 5th Wheel Hitch. I landed on etrailer’s site. I found what I wanted in no time. When I went to check out it said I should have the unit it 3 days. Which would be Friday. I needed to pick up my Camper on Monday. I called because I wanted to be sure it would deliver on Friday. They assured me I would have it Friday. I placed my order at 11am and by 3 pm I had an email saying the Hitch had shipped. To my surprise it arrived on Thursday. I’m very mechanically inclined and it took me about 2 hours to put the Hitch in my 2017 Ram 2500 with the in bed puck system. I did have to remove my bed liner which I will put back in at a later date. The installation went pretty smooth. I found it helpful to watch the videos on the installation. I picked up my camper on Monday and drove 100 miles home. So far so good. It’s going on 600 mile journey over the Memorial Day Weekend. I was very impressed with the customer service when I called and the very quick free shipping. Great Job etrailer.

Love my fifth wheel on time delivery
Overall very happy with my Curt 5th wheel 24k hitch. I’m happy it came in pieces because of the weight totally assembled. Release spring for the slide is pretty stiff but I wouldn’t want it disengaging while driving down the road. Thanks for all your help Justin and your prompt service.
THE Curt Q25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R24 Slider - Dual Jaw - 24,000 lbs. WAS EASY TO ORDER AND CAME PROMPLTY. INSTRUCTIONS WERE VERY EASY TO READ WHICH MADE INSTALLATION SIMPLE AND EASY.
Ease of assembling and worked with our hitch.
The product arrived 1 day earlier than promised. The instructions were decent, they could of been more inclusive of the different setups, the hitch and sliders didn’t reference how to interface with the Ram puck base. The rubber gaskets for the slider base didn’t fit with the Ram base due to their thickness. You need a 100lbs torque wrench(I rented one from Orielys). All the parts were present. The bad may not of been etrailers fault, but the boxes arrived like they were dropped out of an airplane. Amazingly, nothing was damaged.
Heavy duty and construction seems good. The slider handle will be tuff to use since the bed wall is so close and the spring is strong, not to mention the lack of room once a trailer is on there (possible re-design needed). Also wish it came with a few varying rubber shims that go under the assembly. The ones that came with it wont fit and without anything, it is metal to metal and a little sloppy. Other than that, I think it will work good and last a long time...
Easy install, did most myself but I needed my wife’s help with the plate mount. Took about an hour for install. Everything arrived in good condition, and all the hardware was accounted for.
Purchased and installed adapter rails for my Curt 5th wheel hitch. These adapter rails are rated for 24,000 lbs., and are "beefy". I could not be more pleased with the ease of installation and overall heavy duty construction of these adapter rails.
The adapter rails fit the RAM factory puck system perfectly. 2020 2500 tradesman crew cab 4x4

Rails have been in use for about 2 years now and still do the job great. Finish has held up very well considering they spend most of the time out in the elements. Thats saying a lot with Michigan weather. To date, have pulled over 6000 miles with this setup. 11000 lb 35 ft Outback fifth wheel and 2020 ram 2500 tradesman 4x4 crew cab with 6.4

I had a problem with ups losing one part and etrailer sent out another one. All the staff that I spoke with was great.
This slider solves all the problems with towing a fifth wheel with short bed pickups.
I purchased a puck kit and 5th wheel. The puck kit, though not as easy to install as some made it out to be came out perfectly. The 5th wheel is a solid product and works as designed.
Shipping has a field day kicking the boxes down the road, but they could not damage the iron.
Great hitch but even better service and shipping. Thanks for getting this to me in such a short time frame!
Not a very nice way to receive a $[XX] order plus the Hardware Kit is not here.

Straightforward setup. I’d recommend deep sockets for torquing the bolts down. Solid piece of equipment.

Hitch has performed flawlessly
Three concerns/issues. One, is that my truck sits so high up in the air, (Dodge Power Wagon) that when I was hauling the trailer I had so many issues with swaying. If you tow behind is not fairly level this will happen. It took a long time to figure this out. Might want to pass this along to other customers
Two. Should the white disc go between the hitch and the tow behind as a protective disc?
Three. on pull behinds there are chains or cables in the event that the trailer unhooks from the hitch ball. There are no safety cables or chains for a fifth wheel. How come? Just inquiring.
Like most customers the box was in really bad shape when it arrived. Everything was still together and not damaged. Received 2 of 3 boxes, contacted customer service since I needed the rail system for the rest of the assembly to mount on and they promised the rails would arrive the next day. I'm trusting they will get here. The Curt fifth wheel slider hitch is built substantially well and is impressive, cannot wait to hook up!
