Do you have a question about this Vehicle Suspension?

  • Comparing Timbren Suspension Enhancement for 2018 Toyota Tacoma
  • There are six different Timbren kits for suspension enhancement that all fit your 2018 Toyota Tacoma. Four are for the rear and two are for the front. Of the front two, part # TTOFTUN4 is designed for adding support when you put a snow plow on the truck and # TABSTOF is an active bump stop that cushions the shock when off-roading. A couple of the rear kits are designed to support the rear of the truck when either towing a trailer or adding weight in the bed. Use part # TTORTUN4 if...

  • Differences Between Timbren Suspension Enhancement TTORTUN4 and TTOFTUN4, 2010 Toyota Tundra
  • Basically, the Timbren Springs you have referenced, # TTOFTUN4, are for the front suspension. The 6,000 pound system, # TTORTUN4, is for the rear suspension. Installing Timbren suspension enhancement will have very little to no effect on the unloaded ride quality. I have included links to the installation details for both sets for you.

These are way better than the stock rocks!! I’m glad I invested in these. No regrets!

by: Moe04/13/2023

can not say that they made a change in my over all suspension handling so i would say that to me it was not worth it but then some one else may like them

I installed these on my 2016 Colorado to cushion/limit front end squat with my snow plow installed. Work perfect with plow weight, don't touch when plow is off.

the bumpstops are good
but the real
winner is Etrailer.com fantastic customer service.

Bought these in lieu of airbags for my Nissan Frontier. I overland in the desert, taking Astro pictures. I put in Bilstein shocks, raised it about an inch (I’m 5’2, so any higher and I can’t get in my truck!). . Even going as light as possible with my RTT, rack, and other equipment, I was still bottoming out in larger ruts. Everyone suggested airbags but I didn’t want to have to maintain and adjust them. These are perfect and have fixed that problem.

These bumpstops are excellent! they look better in person than they do in the picture. Because I have a 2" spacer lift on my Frontier Pro4X, I needed to Timbren 1/2" spacers & longer 2" bolts. I tested these under full flex and they work perfectly.

2004 Toyota 4Runner

Disappointed in this item TABSTOF. They look and feel almost exactly like the factory bump stops, except with a hole drilled in the center. I can't imagine these would make much of any difference in rebound cushioning as there is just not much to them. There is another part which is more appropriate TOFTAC4A, which are larger and would actually have a benefit whether in a standard or lifted suspension.

My 100 series 2001 Toyota Land cruiser uses four of these bump stops though the build quality of this product is excellent I am only giving it an average rating because 2 of the metal housing that the rubber sits in widens up at the bottom edge. I had to cut that edge back so that they would not scrape one on each side.
