The built-in rain shield on this powered roof vent protects the interior of your RV or camper from rainwater. The reversible, 10-speed fan has a thermostat to regulate airflow inside your RV. Ceiling fan mode circulates air when vent is closed.Put this in to get heat out of semi. Open side vent and turn fan on high exhaust wow what a game changer.
Initially I was real apprehensive about getting this fan installed on my 16’ Casita. Not because I didn’t want the fan, believe me I did. The specifications alone were impressive, but the ability to run it like a ceiling fan, with the vent closed was hands down the most impressive feature. Something my little Dachshund Cinnamon would surely attest to. The front mounted ac unit in the 16’ Casita benifits greatly from this fan, it circulates the air better, cools things quicker and, helps maintain the temperature better. There is little information about putting this on a Casita, much less a 16’ one, but I’m happy with my decision to do so. This fan is awesome, and Etrailer was very helpful with information on my purchase. Another note was that I’m happy Terry my installer did this project, the factory installed Fan was riveted in from the top, and removing it wouldn’t have been a typical by the book procedure. Thanks George J. I’m one happy camper, and that’s without mentioning the remote control, air flow on low settings, great price, fast delivery, or quietness of the product.
Sincerely,

Still going strong. I can’t say enough positive things about this fan. It’s hard to imagine life without it. The air flow created by using this fan with a cracked window is impressive, and that’s without placing it on the highest setting, something I rarely do unless it’s to cool things off while away.
This is my second unit that I buy so I know the quality of the unit, first one sold with old RV. Etrailer extremely fast as
well as total communication as to the status of order.

Its still working perfectly and is a great addition to the RV, the ebst part is you can use it rain or shine and push out hot air or pull in coolair,
First I ordered the wrong part(my error) and Ms Ana S not only got my order straightened out, but also set me up with the correct part that was on back order needed to repair an older MaxxAir fan. At the same time I had decided to order another MaxxAir fan to install in another room of our rv. This MaxxAir fan is every bit as nice as the first one we have. The part that broke eventually came in ahead of schedule and I received it, thanks to excellent customer support from Ana the part was exactly what I needed and my fan has performed perfectly ever since. My wife and I have simply been amazed of the service we have received from Etrailer and especially Ana. I would not hesitate to use the services provided by Etrailer in the future. Customer service like it use to be A+

Still going strong, we just got home from a trip to Myrtle Beach and used MaxxAir fans continually over our one month stay. The repaired fan worked effortlessly with no issues. Love the autofeature for temperature control and how quietly it operates too.
Excellent fan. Fast shipping from etrailer. I ordered this to replace the same manufacturer’s 6” round fan on a pickup truck cap camper build (required cutting a larger hole). This one is extremely quiet and moves air very well. I was hesitant to cut such a large hole in my Leer 180 fiberglass cap but so far so good. My mounting surface is around 3/4” thick (less than the recommended min 1 1/8”) but was able to mount without issue. Just had to purchase 3/4” SS screws to avoid going completely through both fiberglass layers. Based on other reviews, I used a silicone conformal spray to protect the circuit board from moisture prior to installing
Great company. I will order from this company anytime (rather than the big box company that I won’t mention). They are genuinely a pleasure to talk (place your order with) and you receive your products in record breaking time. Their customer service is above any other company that I order from.

This fan is amazing. I was a bit scared to tackle this project so I procrastinated a few months and actually it was very straightforward instructions and a breeze to pit in. What a difference this fan makes in the bedroom area!! I highly recommend putting one in …. And of course order from trailer !
Kyle helped me select the best fan for my needs, gave me some hints for a good install and then offered to help me with tech support, including his number, if I ran into any trouble.

It’s great. I’ve used it often while on shore power and boondocking. It’s quiet and haven’t had any trouble with rain.
I installed the Maxxfan Deluxe 7500 in place of my factory bathroom vent fan in my Winnebago View. This was a great upgrade as it now provides air circulation throughout my motorhome vs. just being a bathroom vent. The installation was easy as it fit in the same opening with just some slight trimming of interior trim due to the wider interior bezel. The automatic temperature option as well as the ability to control the unit with a remote control makes it very easy to use.
I was looking to replace the ceiling vent in our fifth wheel with an electric fan with remote, so I wouldn’t have to use a step stool to open and close the vent. Since the stock vent had no electrical running to it, I had to find a 12v source near it that was not on a switched circuit and that could handle the amperage draw. I had a light above the sink and decided to pull out the microwave to see if 12v wires ran behind it. I was fortunate enough to find 12v wires running through the microwave cabinet, so I used a steel fish tape and ran my Wires through the ceiling to the top cabinet and down through to the microwave cabinet and spiced the new wires to the existing 12v wires. I really thought this install was going to be a lot harder, but it was really easy and took less than two hours. I can only give the fan four stars, because fan really hasn’t been used much yet, but so far I really like it.
Would be a great fan but it only worked for about 2 hours. This fan has a known voltage issue that causes the fan to shut back off within a minute accompanied by a beeping sound. MaxxAir support was helpful and sent me a new fan motor but be prepared to be your own service tech. Maybe in the spring I will have time to install the fan motor?
Installation went smoothly although you should add an hour or more for removing the existing sealant when replacing an old fan.
The fan works great to move air out of the camper, which is what I was looking for. The automatic turn on works great, although we have not used it a lot because we were dry camping. We have used various speeds depending on conditions.
A great upgrade over the small single speed fan that took about 1/4 of the vent opening.

Continues to work well. High speed is slightly loud, 70 or less is not noticeable. Have traveled with the cover open and fan off with no apparent damage.
We dry camp mostly and AC will not run off of solar power. The Max Fan Vent will help move air in or out of the camper. I also have a small space heater that runs on our propane. The ceiling fan feature will be a nice way to maximize the effects of the heater. The furnace is fine when it is freezing out but uses much propane. The little heater is just fine for those cool evenings and chilly mornings. The Max Fan will make it even better.
This is the second install of a MaxxFan for me. The one pictured was done earlier this year in my daughters Transit Connect. What a great little fan! It was a challenge getting this fan to fit along with 200 watts of solar panels. In the end, I couldn't be happier with the results. It looks and functions perfectly! Finishing it off inside with the headliner in place was also challenging, but it looks terrific inside and out.
She's currently living the vanlife somewhere out west. I hear all the time how great the fan works in keeping the temperature comfortable. The best feature of this fan compared to it's competitor, is that you don't need to worry about leaving it open during foul weather, or driving down the highway with it open, for that matter. With "brand-X" you better close it during rain, and make sure its closed while driving.
Because I was so impressed how her fan installed, works, and looks, it was a no brainer getting another one for my current van build, (a 2015 full size Transit Wagon.) This time I got the Deluxe version with remote control.
One more thing. DO GET THE ADAPTER !!! Look on eBay, you'll find it. It makes life so easy installing this fan, or even brand-X... He tells you to use Urethane Window Adhesive (From Napa) for the installation. We did on the first one, and it worked OK. I've used 3M 4200 Marine sealant on other stuff, and it's awesome. I will skip using the Urethane this next time, and use 4200 exclusively. If you use 3M 5200, its' also great stuff, but be advised, it will not come off of anything without being cut, or ground off. The 4200 can be removed with acetone. Also, DO use the GE Sealant they talk about here, great stuff. And, the DICOR self-leveling sealant is great stuff as well.
Shipping was quick and on time! Bridgette with eTrailer is awesome! Thanks Bridgette. Price can't be beat.
Good luck to all on your Van builds.
Such a huge upgrade from the non powered vent that comes standard. It was easy to replace, exactly the same size. This thing is powerful, efficient and quiet. It’s a little on the expensive side, but it is well worth it.
After a year a small amount of stickiness to open after sitting closed for a several months. Very quiet and for a small Sprinter camper it works as designed. I seldom run it at full power which is about 45 watts. Usually about 20% which only uses about 12 watts. Nice to have the multiple settings. In a small van like this I probably could have gotten by with the manual only model. But the remote has temperatures on its display so that is nice to have. All in all a well made product.
This is the third Maxxfan I am putting on a trailer because they do what I want and need them to do.
I don't know how etrailer does it but I received my order exactly two days after order was placed! Excellent service, no, stupendous service!!!
I have installed the MaxxFan Delux roof vent/fan however I have yet to power it up and install the final sealant. I am sure it will operate as advertised. This is the second or third order for RV accessories all of which I have been extremely satisfied. I have and will continue to spread the word to my RV friends, my experiences with etrailer!
Works as advertised and easy to install. My Winnebago View had a version of this fan behind cab but only outflow. I moved that to the bath and installed the new reversible fan in its place. Now I have better bath ventilation and combined with the inflow from the forward fan I don’t need to run the A/C as much.
Easy to install. Like how it draws air in or out

But this in an enclosed trailer like how the fan runs in two different directions to suck area in it’s cool outside or to blow hot air out
I am still happy with the 7500K fan a year later. Installation was straightforward - removing the existing vent (and cleaning off the caulk) was the hardest part. I like the way the unit attaches to the mounting ring, so it can be easily removed if needed. I did not have a problem aligning the screw holes as another reviewer encountered. The fan is in the bath above the shower and we run it on low to remove the humidity when showering. I mounted the remote control on the wall where it has a direct line-of-sight path to the fan, so we don't ever need to take the remote out of the wall cradle. One problem with the fan is that when it is off it still has a current draw of about 20 ma (per the factory). My travel trailer does not have a battery disconnect, so that 20 ma draw is enough to discharge the battery over many months in storage. To correct this, I installed a toggle switch on the fan (see photo) which I can use to totally power down the unit. A second complaint I have relates to "auto mode" where the fan shuts off at a preset temperature. I planned to use this at night, to have the fan cool off my RV until it reaches a nice temperature, and then shut off. Problem is that when the temperature is reached, not only does the fan shut off, but the lid automatically closes. The lid closing is noisy enough to wake us up. As a result, I find auto mode to be pretty useless. But overall, the fan is quiet, moves a good amount of air, and can be left open rain or shine (I leave it open in storage to get some air circulation). Finally, I made current draw measurements at each speed, which some folks might find useful: OFF ~10 mA, 1 ~100 mA, 2 ~150 mA, 3 ~230 mA, 4 ~350 mA, 5 ~500 mA, 6 ~700 mA, 7 ~950 mA, 8 ~1.30 A, 9 ~1.6 A, 10 ~2.4 A.
I love the way it looks but when I have raised and lowered it binds up on the right side. There is a plastic tab on the right side that sticks out far enough to cause the up and down movement to be stuck. It’s for that reason that I’ll either leave the vent open or closed a longtime. I’ll only raise and lower the vent manually because by remote I feel I’ll burn the motor out.
Otherwise I know this is better than the average vent on the market.
This fan is wonderful! I replaced a fantastic fan that was already on my Used RV. The fan was giving me trouble, So I did my research and instead of replacing with another fantastic fan, I choose the MAXXFAN. It was a complete unit replacement. Very easy to do, Took less than an Hour. It's my number 1 recommendation to all my friends that are in need of an upgrade or replacement.

Product arrived fast and was as advertised! As usual, never disappointed ordering from etrailer and their helpful support team
I love it! My RV did not have a powered vent except in the head and the MaxxFan really helps improve the ventilation in the RV.

The built-in rain shield on this powered roof vent protects the interior of your RV or camper from rainwater. The reversible, 10-speed fan has a thermostat to regulate airflow inside your RV. Ceiling fan mode circulates air when vent is closed. This Exceeded our expectations; we didn't know that this would have such an impact on how much air was moved by this vent fan. I was in, then out of the "Doghouse" for the cost of this (the wife did her own research after I had) and then the wait; the unit this replaced was leaking water as it rained outside. Within a week of ordering this it was delivered, and the following day I got it installed. Installation directions were very simple to understand/follow; the hard part was removing the old vent fan and caulk. Another "Bonus" was how quite this is compared to the original.

After a year of using this fan, we are just as pleased with it as we were when we got it. Im not able to say anything about the Rain Sensor, even though we are located in SW Washington, because we dont leave the vent open 247. The remote was the perfect solution for my wifes height challenge 48 to be able to use this, mounted the holder just inside the door on the wall.
Excellent fan. Correction to the etrailer description. The lid can be opened and left open without the fan running, either with the remote control, a wired wall control or by the manual knob on the fan. It can be partially to fully opened by using the manual knob. The optional wired wall control works great for those who can't reach the ceiling control panel on the fan. I have 4 of the 07000K fans in 2 campers, all with wireless remotes and wired wall mount control panels.
We just received and installed these Maxxair Deluxe fans and absolutely love them. We installed these ourselves and couldn’t be happier. Our reason for ordering these fans was simply so we could have the remote and ceiling fan option. Our previous fans did not have a switch, we are too short to reach them and a step stool is a pain. The install went well and was more time consuming than anything. Otherwise not a challenge at all. The reason for the 4-star vs the 5-star is nothing on etrailer’s part but on the fan itself. We went with white vs smoke in hopes to let more light into the coach but they in fact let in less light than if we were to go with smoke. And also the white fans cast a pinky-orangey hue which isn’t necessarily a deal breaker but would’ve been nice to know ahead of time because we would’ve ordered smoke. Other than that the fans are phenomenal. etrailer, as always, is on top of the game and got these out to us fast and customer service rocks as always!!
Replaced a lesser model MaxxAir with this one. Installation was not too bad. A few minor comments for 'improvement'. The cable connectors could be one size larger to accommodate the existing wiring. The instructions didn't really say how 'difficult' it is to get the fan on the flange (makes sense to seal the gasket, just concerned about 'pushing down' too hard). Other than that, very satisfied. Will see how it performs in the rain later this week.
Fit perfectly into existing vent. Ran wiring up behind refrigerator. Can be set to run either on thermostat or manually. Really nice rain good. Now I can keep my camper vented by moving the hot air out in between trips and blow cool air in at night to sleep without all the noise from the air conditioner fan. Very pleased.
I love the Maxx Fan. Quiet and button open and exhaust with remote it is so convenient.
This was scary to install, but we followed the instructions carefully, and it works great! It is quiet and moves air in or out of our Transit Connect van very well. I'm very pleased we bought this unit.
We marked and taped off the opening on the van roof, drilled the corners, then used a jigsaw with a metal blade to cut it out. We taped a garbage back underneath to catch metal shavings.
The butyl sealant made a water-tight fit, and self-leveling caulk provided the final weatherproof seal. We added plywood on the inside of the roof to provide support, which was a good idea. Overall we love the fan!

One year later literally two weeks after the warranty expired we discovered that the vent was leaking. The cause was that the lid was cracked, from where the closing assembly pulled it shut. Apparently this is a very common problem with this fan, I see a lot of people complaining online of the same thing. I bought a replacement lid over $100 and installed it. The fan now has loud wind noise while driving, and rattles when going over bumps, because the fasteners that hold it in place are bent and loose. Considering the purchase price of the fan, I am wholly unimpressed with its longevity.
First purchase from etrailer was concerned as it was a pricey item for me. They outperformed themselves! Items shipped on time, I was kept aware of tracking and item arrived 1 day ahead of schedule. Good selection of products, reasonable prices, excellent service and follow up. etrailer gets 5 stars from me!
Remote control is so awesome
Since we are of shorter stature, acts as a whole trailer fan
I have had several of these fans in my current and pervious RV's. Their are great. They move air quietly and smoothly. This lets us not run the air conditioner except in the most extreme times and pull out odors quickly. Would never own an RV without.
Absolutely love this vent, very easy to install and the lowest 3 settings, you cant hear the vent. Exactly what my vintage trailer needed
This is probably my favorite purchase. It pulls all the moisture out quickly and the heat. Blowing in helps to dry damp towels. Remote works great as I was never able to reach the other fan to even turn it on. I no longer have to wait for some one to help me.
What a terrific upgrade this was to the original fan. The videos on the etrailer product page made this an easy job. The fan is amazingly quiet yet it moves a massive amount of air.
2. Star review
I had this fan installed during a re-roofing on my 5th wheel in April 2019. I am happy with the performance and the remote makes it very easy to operate. The unit sat for 19 months during COVID lockdown and border closure. I now notice that 3 of the 4 motor support arms are cracked. A replacement vent frame, part # 10-21217K would fix my problem. Unfortunately this part is no longer, or never was, available. According to the manufacturer, Airxcel, my only option is to replace the whole unit. Without knowing why this one cracked, I am reluctant to invest in another one. I can't believe I am the only one that has experienced this and there has to be a reason why the replacement part is not available. Buyer beware, if yours cracks there is no repair option. That's why I give this product 2 stars.
Fantastic product moves air as should not loud either. all the thanks to e-trailer and there informative videos. Return customer indeed
MaxAir fan delivery was done as expected. I have not installed it yet but should be able to review this item later on. From all the research I've done the MaxAir line has great reviews.
Arrived way too fast for one thing! For another, it’s exactly what I ordered. Finally, the price was fair.
Have conducted business with etrailer many times.
I now always trust etrailer.
Not always the best price but etrailer always stocks and delivers.
A little noisy when it opens and closes, but otherwise a great upgrade!
am more than pleased with this fan works great for both intake and exhaust fan love the rain guard.
When they work, they do really well. Mine started squeaking loudly, so it has been returned. The designers of this model were kind enough to install a super bright green LED that shines when in auto mode, which is where most people will use it. You cannot shut off the LED unless you take it out of auto mode. If you like waking up to a green light, as in an alien spacecraft coming to pick you up for a free ride, then this is the fan for you. Otherwise, shop around because that light is really really bright! If it wasn't for the beacon that you cannot shut off, this would be a five-star review of a fan.
MaxxFan arrived promptly and in good condition. Will be installing today. Thanks etrailer!
Awesome product. Super quick shipping.
AWESOME! Tis fan is a million times better than the tiny, noisy, stock unit! Installation was a breeze. Fan is very quiet especially below 30%. First time out with it and we ran it during a thunderstorm! The design is great no rain came in the camper. Love the low profile when closed doesn't add any clearnce height as we travel. The remote is IR so it needs to be pointed at the unit or mounted below it some how. I mounted ours to high on the wall and the IR beam didn't work. But now kinda under the fan on the wall it works great. Kepp the camper cool all weekend. It moves a ton of air! Looking forward to many more quiet nights with it on.
Deluxe features that I like. Low amp draw, quiet, remote control, rain safe, auto setting for when we are present.
Great value!! Excellent fan, it was so easy to install and it works amazingly!! I would order this product again (hopefully I won't need to but if I do this is the one I would choose.)and I would definitely order from etrailer again!!! Super fast shipping as well!!!
