I was glad to find a solid zinc license plate holder for my trailer. I was very satisfied with the order and the product.
the zinc plated trailer license plate bracket is a 100% improvement over the flimsy plastic one that came with the trailer .I needed to make some adjustments to fit the trailer light but everything else was what I wanted
Great replacement for the cheap OEM plate holders. Ended up working out better than I thought it would. Bolts directly where the plastic one did on a 5 x 8 Carry-On trailer. Painted it black to match the trailer. Looks like it came that way from factory.
The product I ordered is exactly as described, and meets my needs perfectly. The price is quite reasonable. I had looked for several months at local retail outlets to find a sturdy steel bracket but all I could find were the plastic variety. Plastic does not hold up well when exposed to constant rushing air (as in 65 mph on the Interstate). I am very happy to find a license plate bracket that will do the job without failure!
This is one of the best license plate brackets I have found for boat trailers. The metal helps keep lights grounded and is worlds above plastic in terms of strength.
I have been looking for this product for awhile to replace two flimsy plastic license plate brackets on trailers we own. In fact I recently lost a license plate due to a plastic one that broke on my utility trailer. I am amazed at the high quality and very low cost of this product. I have never went wrong with etrailer. This product was no different. Product is well built and sturdy. Fast shipping and would deninatley recommend it if you're looking for a trailer tag bracket.

Item was as shown and described and seems to be sturdy with a durable finish. Installs with the plate offset facing front or rear. Will see how it holds up but sure its %500 better than the plastic crap that came on the trailer.
Are you kidding? This metal license plate mount is rock solid and under $2. The holes are set up perfectly to fit the mounting bolts on my driver side trailer light and the position of the license plate when mounted allows it to be lit by the clear lens on the bottom of the trailer light when the running lights are on. Also, the bracket allows the mounted license plate (and frame) to just clear the rail of the flat bed trailer itself. Yeah, it's a perfect fit. Thanks, trailer!!
Anyone that first buys a trailer knows that plastic license plate holder is flimsy.And sometimes you can lose your license plate.This is steel sturdy and well made
I think you will find these photos show a unique installation of your metal trailer license plate holder.
My Yamaha golf cart is street legal which requires a license plate. You will see in close up photo that the holder is used up side down for a custom fit.

Not to good plate came undone and flew off my trailer . Had to buy another liscense plate .
Old bracket was plastic and easily broke off. I Ordered a metal one from etrailer at a great price. I painted mine with some extra plasti dip I had laying around and riveted it where the old one was and it's better than new!

A nice product. It won't rust but it is probably not as touch as steel. It will flex if it hits something backing up. I have damaged these in the past, but I was abusing the thing. I bought two. Cheap enough to have a spare laying around.

This product fits the tracker trailer for my 2013 Pro 170 bass boat perfectly. Very quick and easy install (5 minutes). Just loosen the two nuts that are on the back of the left taillight and remove the two washers. The taillight slides right out because the two bolts are made to the back of the light. You put this bracket onto the bolts and slide the bolts back through the two holes on the trailer. This is a good time to make sure that the wires do not become pinched and are pushed back into the trailer frame. Just put the washers back onto the bolts and then the nuts and tighten and you're done. The fit is perfect! Great product! Just for information I also bought the metal bracket, but the holes were too small so I used this one and everything was in the right place and right size. I didn't want to spend fishing time making the holes bigger on the metal bracket!

UPDATE: I have used this bracket for over a year now and it is still working perfectly! I do not have a garage for my boat and trailer so I cover the boat, but the trailer is exposed to the sun and other elements 24 hours per day. After going through several snow storms,this past winter and all of the rain followed by days of hot sun, this bracket still looks like new and has the same flexibility as the day that I purchased it.I highly recommend this product and I will order it again if I ever accidentally break it off. I had to replace my OEM bracket because I got it caught on a anchor rope and snapped it off while solo launching my boat at the dock! After learning from my mistake, and getting this bracket, I have had no issues. This is a great product!

Everything was fantastic.
This bracket has held up to over 4,000 miles of trailering in the last year. This is much better than the "diamond plate" aluminum bracket that was replaced by this bracket after only a few months. I didn't even last half that many miles before cracking across one of the bends in the metal.
This bracket has been good so far, and plastic isn't going to corrode eventually like metal brackets.
This is NOT just a license plate holder. I needed a bracket to use to mount electric wiring connection, and braking system cable, for my tow car for behind my RV. I have purchased from etrailer several times in the past, and have been every happy with the top quality of their products. No one makes exactly what I need, but the bracket did the job, and it will last, that I am sure of.

Product was exactly what I needed and arrived as outlined using economy shipping.
Perfect fit replacement to fit behind ST37RPG or similar left hand tail light with license plate illuminator. Replaced in less than 2 minutes.

Can't beat the value.
Last one lasted 7 years on a jet ski trailer. Plate is low and hits the ground often.

I dont use the two trailers I put these on much but they still look brand new and would def buy again from Etrailer if needed.
