Inno Roof Bike Racks Review - 2016 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2016 Hyundai Accent, we're doing a test fit of the Inno Fork Lock III roof-mounted bike rack. That part number is INA391. Now we already have our bike secured down. We're just going to go how we do that. We have a ratcheting strap here in the back. We're going to push down on our black button and be able to lift that up and set it off to the side.

Today on 2016 Hyundai Accent, we're doing a test fit of the Rockymount's Brass Knuckles Roof Mounted Bike Rack, that part number is RKY1202. Now, we already have our bike secured down. Here at the bike tire, we have a ratcheting strap, we're just going to push in our black button, and lift that strap through. Today, on our 2016 Hyundai Accent, we're doing a test fit of the Kuat Trio Roof-Mounted Bike Rack. That part number is TR02. Now, we already have our bike strapped down. That's the first thing we're going to show you. Then, we're going to go over how our bike rack is attached to our crossbars. Here at the back, we have a strap that's going to keep our wheel secured. You can easily just push on the button, lift that strap up, and set it off to the side. Now, up at the front, we have a fork mount here. We've got that skewer that's going to hold our forks in place.

Today on our 2016 Hyundai Accent we're doing a test fit of the Inno Multi-Form Lock Roof Mounted Bike Rack. That part number is INA392. Now we already have our bike connected to the rack. We first wanted to show you how we secure that down and then we'll go over how we secure down our rack to our vehicle. Here on the back wheel cradle we have a ratcheting strap. We're just going to push on the black button here and release that. We head up to the front we can undo our locking cover here, fold back our anti-theft and tamper device and then we can open up our skewer. We'll turn one way or the other to loosen and tighten that skewer around our fork mounts.

Today on our two thousand sixteen Hyundai Accent, we're doing a test fit of the Inno slim-fork roof mounted bike rack. That part number is INA387. We already have our bike strapped to our rack. We're first going to show you how we secure that down, and then we'll go over how we secure the rack to our cross bars. Here in the back we have a tire clamp. Which is going to hold our back tire in place. To loosen that, we're just going to rotate this knob here on the end.



Thule Roof Bike Racks Review - 2016 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2016 Hyundai Accent we're doing a test-fit of the Thule ThruRide Roof Mounted Bike Rack. That part number is TH535. We already have our bike secured down, we're first going to show you how we do that, and then we'll go over how we secure the rack to our crossbars. Here at our back wheel cradle, we'll see that we have a ratcheting strap, push the grey button and we can release that. We also have a bushing here to protect your bike tire. If we check out up front, you will see a skewer here. This is going to be a different type of skewer, this can actually be used for thru-axle bike, or you can use it for your fork mounts with the skewer you see here.

Today on our 2016 Hyundai Accent we're doing a test fit of the Rhino Rack mountain trail rooftop bike carrier. That part number is RBC035. Now we already have our bike up there and secure. Like they call it, they call it brass knuckle, if you can see in how this engages. You see to disengage it, you push the blue button while we're holding our bike, and pull up.

Today on our 2015 Hyundai Accent we're doing a test fit of the Thule full ride roof bike rack. Part number is TH535. Now, I have a bike already in our rack and it's up on our vehicle. Going to show you a few things now. How our bike is hooked up, there are forward mounts up here. We have secured this nice and secure, so we won't have any problem there. Toward the back we have a wheel cradle and we have a strap with bushings to protect your spokes and your tires.

Today, on our 2015 Hyundai Accent, we're doing a test fir of the Thule Canyon Roof Cargo Basket. The part number is TH859. We have the basket already on our vehicle. It's hooked up to our roofing system. The dimensions are 49 by 40 by 6. It can hold up to 150 pounds, but we always say, look at your owner's manual and see exactly how much your roof can actually hold. I have 3 of the 4 hold downs on. Right here, we have our plate for the two spacers.

Today on our 2014 Hyundai Accent we're going to be test fitting the Thule Big Mouth. This is a fork clamp style roof mounted bike rack. It's part number is TH599XTR. We've got the Thule Traverse Roof Rack System that we've already installed on the accent so we're going to begin our test fit by placing the bike rack directly up onto our load bars. We're going to separate the 2 clamps located here in the front, bringing the T-bolts back behind our bars. We'll bring the lower portions of our clamp around the underside. We'll slide the T-bolt back into the lower portion of the clamp. Then we can use the black wing nuts located on top here to tighten those down.



Kuat TRIO Roof Bike Racks Review - 2014 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2014 Hyundai Accent we're going to be testing the Kuat TRIO. This a fork clamp style roof mounted bike rack. This is in the black and chrome. It's part number TR02. Now to begin our test fit, we're going to place the TRIO right up onto our Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System. We'll take one of the black rubber coated metal U-bolts, bring it around the underside of our load bar, and thread on one of our cylinder nuts.



Thule Sprint Roof Bike Racks Review - 2014 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2014 Hyundai Accent, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Sprint. This is a fork clamp style roof mounted bike rack. It's part number is TH528. We've got the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System already installed on our Accent, so we'll begin our test fit by placing the rack right up onto our load bars. We'll bring the black rubber coated metal straps around the underside and position our, the upper portions of our clamp directly on top of the bars. With those in place, we're going to bring our metal strap up to the head of the carrier here and we're going to fit it into the two small indentations. We'll then come to the rear, and tighten up the black lever. When it's out straight like this, you can get a lot of turns on it very rapidly to take out the slack and then we'll turn it over into it's lever position to get more torque on it.



Swagman Upright Roof Bike Racks Review - 2014 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2014 Hyundai Accent, we're going to be test fitting the Swagman Upright. This is a frame clamp style roof mounted bike rack. It's part number is S64720. Now we have the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System already installed on the Hyundai, so we'll begin our test fit by placing the bike rack right up onto our crossbars. At the front, we're going to take one of the U-bolts, we'll bring it around the underside of our crossbar, fit it up through the head of the carrier and thread on two wing nuts. We're going to leave these loose for now just until we have our rack adjusted properly. We'll take a second U-bolt, bring it up through the other side of the carrier after going around our crossbar and thread two wing nuts on it as well.

Today on our 2014 Hyundai Accent, we're going to be test fitting the Rhino Rack Mountain Trail. This is a fork clamp style roof mounted bike rack. It's part number is RBC035. We've got the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System already installed on the Accent, so we'll begin our test fit by placing our bike rack up onto our load bars. As we do it here at the front, we'll want to bring the two black rubber coated metal straps around the underside. We'll then remove the black cover, place those straps into the head of the carrier and then we'll tighten down the main bolt, located here in the middle using a hex head wrench. With the front of the rack secure, we can replace our cover, then we'll move to our rear clamp. Here we're going to loosen both of our wing nuts up, and we're going to remove one completely.



RockyMounts TieRod Roof Bike Rack Review - 2013 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Accent we're going to be test-fitting the RockyMounts TieRod Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number RKY1014. To install the bike rack we'll lift up the carrier and set it on top of our load bars. We'll feed the straps at the head of the bike carrier around our front bar, lock them back into the head and use an Allen key to tighten them down. Then we can reinstall the cover on the head of the bike rack. At the back we'll use the clamp and two wing nuts to secure the rear of the bike rack to our rear load bar. Once we've done that we're ready to load up our bike. We'll make sure that the skewer at the front is open and that the wheel strap at the rear of the bike is also open. We'll pick the bike up, place the rear wheel into the wheel tray and drop the front fork down into our skewer.



Yakima FrontLoader Roof Bike Rack Review - 2013 Hyundai Accent

Today we have a 2013 Hyundai Accent and were going to test fitting the Yakima Frontloader Roof Mounted Bike Carrier part number Y02103. To install the carrier, set it on top of our load bars and well fit the head of our bike carrier around the front load bar and use the hand knob to tighten the clamp down. Then well take the clamp in the rear and slide it over our rear load bar and use the T-bolt and included wing nut to tighten it down. With that done, our bike rack is secured to our roof rack and were ready to load up a bike. We need to make sure that the front wheel hoop is up and open. Then well pick up our bike and set it in the carrier.



Yakima ForkLift Roof Mounted Bike Rack Review - 2013 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Accent were going to be test fitting the Yakima Forklift Roof Mounted Bike Carrier part number Y02098. To install this bike rack we need to remove the skewer from the head of the bike rack first. Well open up the clamp at the head of the bike rack and fit it around our crossbar and then well tighten it down with a T-bolt and wing nut. Slide the cover back into place and then we can reinstall our skewer. At the back, we need to slide the clamp over our rear crossbar and again, well tighten it down with a T-bolt and wing nut and now were ready to load our bike. Well pick up our bike and place the wheel into the wheel tray and place the front fork down into our skewer.



Thule Domestique Roof Bike Rack Review - 2013 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Accent, we'll be test fitting the Thule Domestique fork-mounted bike carrier, part number TH513. We've already got our bike carrier assembled according to the instructions, and now we're ready to fit it on top of our roof rack. We'll place the bike rack on top of our bars. Next we need to fit the front clamp around our front load bar, and the rear clamp around the rear, and we'll tighten them down with the included Allen keys. Once we've done that, we can replace the skewer into the head of the bike rack, and we'll be ready to load our bike. We'll go ahead and undo the rear wheel strap, and fit the rear wheel of our bike into the tray.



Yakima FrontLoader Roof Bike Rack Review - 2011 Hyundai Accent

Today on our 2011 Hyundai Accent well be test fitting the Yakima frontloader wheel mount bike carrier, part number Y02103. To begin our test fit well place the head of the bike rack over the top of the front crossbar. We can then move the rear mount directly over the rear crossbar and bring the clamp around underneath and loosely secure it to the rear crossbar. Well then move back to the head of the bike rack, and using the black knob on the front of the bike rack well tighten it down. That will secure the head. We can then move back to the rear mount where well secure it with the wing nut, and now our bike rack is ready for our bike.
