Kuat Dirtbag Bike Rack - Fork Mount - Bolt On - 15 mm Thru-Axle Skewer
Cheap alternative compared to having to buy a 9mm thru axle mount for the utili-track in my Nissan Frontier AND THEN having to buy an adapter for that! For under $10 I bought some parts from a local hardware store and made this mount fit the track. It's sturdy, and high quality.
Disappointed. The Kuat Dirtbag works, and feels relatively solid once installed, but is about 2-3 mm shorter than my hub. That means while loading and unloading the fork doesn't sit nicely on the rack and inserting/removing the thru-axle can be quite challenging. I'd heard great things about Kuat's products, and all I can say is I'm glad this one isn't as overpriced as the rest of their lineup.

Kuat Dirtbag Phat 15 Fat Bike Rack - Fork Mount - Bolt On - 15 mm x 150 mm Thru-Axle Skewer
This makes for a much more secure solution than tossing the bike in the bed of the truck.
It's been a great purchase -- the fork mount has worked out exactly as I hoped -- no fuss mounting of my Salsa Beargrease Fat Bike in the bed of my Ford Maverick pickup which has a flexed with slots made for a 2x6 to mount the bike. This is a high quality mount.

Kuat Dirtbag Bike Rack - Fork Mount - Bolt On - 9 mm Quick-Release Skewer
These simple fork mounts worked great to convert my hitch mounted cargo carrier into a bike rack for my Jeep Wrangler. These lack the locking feature I like about my Yakima roof mounted bike rack since they just use your existing skewer to hold the bike. It's a minor inconvenience to remove the skewer from your wheel. Quality is good, shipping was fast and the etrailer.com price could not be beat. This option saved me hundreds of dollars over a hitch mounted multi bike rack.
Installed bracket in pickup bed the same day it arrived and used it to pick up our two Trek bikes with quick release. Solid! Even the Trek technician was impressed. Said he’d recommend this product to others. Drove 100 miles home in stiff wind. Bikes were locked in solid.

Kuat Dirtbag Bike Rack - Fork Mount - Bolt On - Boost 110 Thru-Axles
This is a great way to transport a bike. Just bolt the dirtbag to a surface and attach the fork. I have mine mounted in the back of our minivan and regularly transport my mountain bike inside the van. The dirtbag comes in sizes to fit most fork configurations. I have a through axle for my tandem bike, 100mm for my mountain bike, and now the 110mm for my 29+ mountain bike. They all have the same hole pattern so I just swap them out depending on which bike I am transporting.
Few retailers sell the 15mm x 110mm (Boost) thru-axle mount let alone stock it. etrailer had it and sold it for less the manufacturer. Their economy shipping got it to me (Missouri to San Diego) in under a week. I didn’t want to drill into my truck bed rails so I connected to an existing tie mount via an aluminum angle (see pics). Heavy duty steel construction. This mount will definitely outlast my bike. I’m pleased with the product and etrailer’s service.

Kuat Dirtbag Phat 9 Fat Bike Rack - Fork Mount - Bolt On - 9 mm Quick-Release Skewer
I bought this for my fat tire HIMIWAY ZEBRA E-BIKE to mount to the rails in my 2018 Toyota Tundra. The mount was sturdy. After looking all over the internet this was the best I could find. The issue I had with it is that the bike weighs 88lbs and it was difficult to get the front fork on the mount. But the bigger issue was the weight of the bike on the mount added allot of stress to the Tundra rail system to the point where it was flexing the front of the truck bed. I did not want to risk the potential damage to the truck through bumps and long hauls . I would definitely recommend this if you have a regular fat tire bike as it’s not as heavy and won’t stress the bed.
I have been using two of these for a year now to hold down two e-bikes on a flat rack. These are wide enough to use on ebikes with wide forks.
