You can stick the control knob to the dashboard, plug in the module, and your brake controller installation is done with no drilling and no hardwiring. The knob is large and easy to use, while the main unit is out of sight behind the dash.
Installation Notes:
Vehicles built before August 2021 are not equipped with provisions to install an aftermarket brake controller. Must be hardwired. To ensure you locate the proper vehicle wiring for stoplight, contact your local authorized dealer or vehicle’s manufacturer.
Tech Tip:
Some models do not have power run to the brake controller port under the dash. If this is the case, we have wiring kit BRK-ELECKIT which you can use to run power to the brake controller port.
