Hey Blair, if you were going to install the Firestone air bag kit part # F4164 upside down then cutting the hole in the top of the spring seat would not be necessary but this is not the recommended way to do this so I would lean on recommending you do it the way the instructions describe. Hello Robert, thanks for reaching out. According to Hopkins, the # HM11143910 is only for the 2008-2018 Lexus LX, so I would not be able to confirm fit for the 2021 model. The plugs may be similar but it likely would not be wired/pinned correctly for the 2021 model so you might run into things like blown fuses or incorrect light function.

Hey John, the Hopkins part # HM11143910 does not need to be connected to both sides of the vehicle to function. All of the trailer wiring functions are present at that one connector. There isn't a version of this harness that uses the other side of the vehicle either. view full answer...
