Hi Mike; since it is a 3,500 lb axle the diameter is likely 2-3/8" which means the # K71-384-00 you looked at is the correct kit. Occasionally they can have a 3" diameter so I recommend checking to be sure. If it is 3" you need the # K71-385-00 instead.
If you want to swap out the axle the next size up is a 5,200 lb. You would need to match your current hub face measurement. Keep in mind, adding a higher capacity axle will not increase the capacity of the trailer. Even if you swap out... view full answer...
Hey Kyle, this is a great question but the difference is the bolt length for the ones that connect to the hangers because the Correct Track brackets add thickness. You can see the difference in the two pictures I attached. Note how much more bolt is on either side of the bushing on the black bolt which is the kit for the Correct Track part # MR38ZR. view full answer...
