Hey John! It has to do with the different front end on the John Cooper Works model of the 2013 Mini Roadster. It's not considered a fit if you have to cut through a bunch of body pieces or trim. As far as the chassis goes the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit item # BX1307 will fit but you have to completely mangle the front end.

I have a solution for you to tow your 2013 Mini Roadster John Cooper Works behind your RV but the only base plate kit that is available for your vehicle, part # BX1307, is not compatible with the John Cooper Works model. You will need to use a tow dolly.

I understand you are hoping to save some cash and make the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit part # BX1303 work but that is really just not feasible as these base plate kits are custom fit to exact vehicles.
