You do have the option to utilize the air brakes on your 2023 Freightliner Cascadia to control electric trailer brakes using the Hayes Air Actuated Trailer Brake Controller, part # HA100400C. However, we mostly recommend just using an electric brake controller since they tie into the stop light switch of the tow vehicle, making it irrelevant what kind of brakes it has.

Hey Ray! That is certainly unusual behavior. Since the Prodigy P3 # 90195 shows it is not connected when the truck is on I would start by checking the vehicle side connector. It sounds like there could be some corrosion causing the issue. I'm not sure how the 7-way functions on your truck but if you don't have power to other functions when the truck is off and do when it is on I could see that causing a problem if power carries over through corrosion.

Semis have different functions for their wiring connectors so we'll essentially need to "start from scratch" using the following:
- Universal 4-Way # 119147KIT
- Universal Upgrade # ETBC7
This gives you the correct functions as well as the wiring needed to get a break controller installed.

To do this you'll need a converter # 119250KIT. Then to install the actual RV 7-way use install kit # ETBC7 which will also include everything to install a brake controller. Hey David, congrats on the new motorhome! I checked with WeatherTech and their Front Auto Floor Mats item # WT67VJ will indeed fit your 2026 Renegade Classic 43CMD. This is a set of driver and passenger floor mats.
I doubt you even had the option to purchase a manual but the WeatherTech item # WT67VJ will only work with automatic transmission models. These mats will not fit the Freightliner Cascadia with a manual transmission.
