Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer. Today we're gonna take a look at the Scrubblade 28-inch long hybrid-style shade blade windshield wiper blade in the blue color for a quantity of one. Now, to purchase the correct wiper blades for your vehicle, what you're gonna need is the length of the wiper blade and how it attaches to the wiper arm. To get the length, you can look in your vehicle's owner's manual or you can actually measure the blade on the vehicle. To measure it, just measure from one end to the other. So, on this blade it's gonna measure 28 inches long.
Now, you could also use our fit guide on the website, pull up your year and model vehicle, and it'll also show you the correct wiper size you need on your vehicle. Now, many vehicles will use different lengths for the driver's side, the passenger side, and even the rear window. So now, once you know the size, then all you need to do is determine how it connects to the wiper arm, and there's many different types of connectors. What you need to do is match the type of connector that's on your vehicle to the blade with the same. And then most wiper kits will come with a selection of different adapters.
Like this one, you can see there's four different adapters here to fit many vehicles. You just have to choose the correct adapter to hook it, to put the adapter to there and hook it to the arm on your vehicle. It is a quick, easy installation on most arms. They mostly use the J hook style, the side pin, or the bayonet style connectors. Now, this wiper is an all weather hybrid-style wiper from Scrubblade, has dual blades to provide crystal clear visibility.
The outer blade will scrub away mud, bugs, and road grime, and the inner blade's gonna clear any remaining water and debris for superior visibility. Now, I wanted to zoom in even a little bit closer to show you that. You can see there's your dual blade design. And on the outside of each blade, right here and over here, you'll notice they have little tabs there. These are scrubbers.
So, on the outside of each blade, those scrubbers will cut through any tough road grime that's on your windshield. (Jeff clears throat) Now, the blades themselves are a silicone blade. They do have a ceramic coating on them to ensure quiet, chatter-free operation. Holds up to heat and UV rays. The frame is a rubber covered frame, has a nice low profile blade, prevents wind lift, and the center attachment point ensures even pressure distributed for optimal performance. As we mentioned, the blade color on this one is blaze and blue. It is also available in black, red, or white. We sell those separate on our website. The length again, one end to the other is 28 inches. This is for a quantity of one wiper blade. Now, if you do have any other additional questions regarding this part or any other item we carry, please feel free to reach out to us so they can help you get all of your questions answered for you. That is gonna do it for a look at the Scrubblade 28-inch hybrid-style shade blade windshield wiper blade in blue.

Hey Daron. I'm going to have to try these! I need to replace mine and was looking for something that would help with the grime we get here in Missouri.

That film could be from a rain repellent on your windshield, but I have confirmed that Scrubblade does not coat their wipers with Rain-X coating. They said that if it is raining, you should use wiper fluid to minimize noise. In a heavy rain, squeaking her and there is normal for any blade; but it should not be constant and loud with each swipe. If you would like to try rotating the wiper 180 degrees when issues like this occur, that can help fix the pressure points and allow the blade to make better contact. All you have to do is rotate the adapter located in the middle of the blade itself. There are two pinch tabs underneath the blade in the middle. Pinch these together and pull up on the adapter and it will come off. Rotate the adapter 180 degrees and reinstall the wiper as you did before.
