Hey everybody. Welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby. Today, we're taking a look at the Scrubblade Platinum Hybrid Wiper Blade on our 2016 Nissan Rogue. Now, we're gonna give you some quick installation guides on here and a couple of advantages of why you might wanna go with this wiper. It does have a hybrid blade, so it does actually have two blades on here, as you can see, so that first one can do a really good job of getting those bud guts and other kind of dirt you might get on your vehicle, while you have the secondary blade for most of your water applications.
Now, keep in mind, if you're just kinda doing, you're not doing a lot of highway driving all the time, not having a lot of debris, this might not be the best option for you, as you are getting, you know, kinda overkill on those blades, and they might not work a hundred percent as well just for that water, you might have this Rain-X options if you want it. However, as we mentioned, if you're looking for a way of getting that stuff off of your windshield, this can be the guy to go to. You wanna start by getting a towel down here, now when we do take this windshield blade off, we don't actually wanna pop it off and have our arm come down and crack our windshield, so it's just a good safety assurance to actually have something behind here. So let's go ahead and take a quick look of getting this one off for this guy. We don't actually have any tabs in here that we actually wanna push.
And this kinda depend on what kind of wiper blade you already have installed, but for today, all we simply have to do is pull this down to get our J hook unclipped, and set our old one off to the side and to replace our other one, today, we have a couple of different adapters on here as well, so depending on what style you have with our Nissan Rogue here today as you can see, we just have a simple J style hook here. Then all we wanna do, is come into our application on our new product, lock it up inside, ooh, find the right angle and simply click it in place, and we're ready to go. Another one on the passenger side, we'll go ahead and actually use the 17 inch Scrubblade here. As you can see, it is gonna be a little bit smaller but it is gonna fit our vehicle. So, repeating the process of installation on the other side, we just wanna simply come in here, make sure that there's no like, little tabs that you wanna hit on the back in here, kinda depends on your vehicle and maybe just the wiper blades we see on this before.
But for today, all we simply have to do, get this in the standing position and push it down walking that J hook off. And then, we want to go ahead and take our new guy here. Make sure that that tab it opens up and simply repeat that process again, getting an in position where we want to slide that J hook inside of it. And the instructions are included as well, they make it really simple. And as we mentioned too, the host of applications you get with this guy can change house which style you have.
However, on our rope today, we should just have a simple J style just like so. When we get it clicked in, push that tab down and we're ready to wipe. So you can see, the wipers are doing their job, starting to get some of that debris that's actually still built on. Now keep in mind, it's going to do a better job of when those bugs first Splott, and you're first getting them on there. Once they've been kicked in a while, I would recommend step at a gas station and just scrubbing them off. These wipers changed my life forever! They are winter blades that effectively wipe water from the windshield. I haven't had a chance to use them in snow but they are covered with rubber so there should be no issue with freezing hinges.
BTW, I use RainEx so I seldom use my wipers in weather above 40F.
Bought a set for my Tacoma pick up and one for the wife's Forrester, love these. Only wish they sold the shorter one for the rear window of the Subaru as it would've put my total into the FREE SHIPPING category!

Wish I could rate it higher. Seems like a very good concept for a windshield wiper that would really clean the windshield, but the mounting adapter does not properly fit my Subaru.
I just installed the "scrubblade premium" wiper blades on my vehicle. Haven't had the opportunity to actually use them yet, but I am impressed with the quality of the product, ease of installation and overall appearance. I look forward to seeing how the blades actually perform this Winter. As usual, "etrailer" was a PLEASURE to deal with and, I must say, that I have never been disappointed with the quality of any of their products that I have purchased in the past. Thanks again etrailer.
Turned Out to be great wsw's. After two orders for these, everything turned out great. They are for a Mercedes Sprinter Motor home. The original wipers are the squeeze together tabs to install them on the wiper arms. They are very flimsy and the squeeze together tabs break easily. Actually the etrailer people tried to be helpful but didn't understand the new adapters. They gave me a second return authorization. I read in the product information sheet that was packaged with the new wipers to call them them for questions. I called and a very helpful lady told ne how to disassemble the wiper blade and to install two new adapters on each blade. The new adapter looks nothing like the original adapter but is so much better, stronger and a better tight fit.
