You load up for a weekend off the grid, knowing the weight will shift on rough trails. Instead of bracing for every dip, you drive with steady control and a smoother feel that lets you focus on the road ahead.
When you add weight up front like a plow or winch, the nose can dip and change how the truck feels. These springs compress as weight comes on, adding support as needed so the front end stays more level and easier to control.
Potholes, washboard roads, and uneven ground can send harsh feedback through the front suspension. The closed-cell polyurethane design absorbs those hits, helping soften the ride so it feels less jarring behind the wheel.
Hard stops with extra weight up front can cause the nose to dip more than you like. These springs firm up as they compress, helping limit that forward dive so braking feels more controlled and predictable.
Air setups can take time to manage with pressure checks and possible leaks. This is a one-piece solution with no maintenance needed, so once it is installed you can focus on driving instead of upkeep.
These replace the factory bump stops up front, so you are not stacking extra parts onto your suspension. It is a clean upgrade that works quietly in the background without changing how you use your truck.
Even without added weight, the springs stay lightly engaged. That helps reduce front-end bounce on daily drives and keeps the truck feeling more settled whether you are carrying equipment or running empty.

Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs for your front axle. Now these are a custom fit application, so make sure you're double checking the fit guide over here at etrailer.com to be sure you're getting the right parts for your rig. Now these are a simple upgrade kit. It's been designed to improve load support, stability, and overall ride quality.
And unlike traditional airbag systems, these are microcellular urethane material and they don't need any kind of maintenance. Once you install 'em, it's done. It's a one and done installation. And depending on your setup, basically you're gonna be replacing that factory bump stop with these, and these are gonna engage, giving you a progressive spring rating of 1400 pounds at 50% compression. All that means is that they're gonna stay soft like this and then whenever you have loaded weight on them, they're gonna compress, and they'll give you up to 1400 pounds at that full 50% compression.
And if you don't use all that, meaning you don't have that much weight, that's fine. They're gonna work up to that progressively, meaning it's not gonna be hard and stiff all the time. Only when it needs to be. That way it's gonna be less rear end sag, less sway, better control, better ride quality, especially when you're hauling different weights of gear, whether you're towing a camper one day, a trailer next, uneven loads, or something like that. This can handle that without having to worry about adjustments and those kind of things.
So again, it's an upgrade from your factory bump stops. You do get everything included. All the nuts, bolts. It looks like some thread lock here, the blue one. And then of course these brackets here with the plastic rubber bumper here as well.
That'll be installed per the instruction. So again, these are the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs for your front axle. I'm Steven with etrailer. Thanks for watching, and have a great day.
