Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement LED bulbs for your headlights. These are going to be a much brighter bulb than you typically get from a halogen bulb or from your OEM factory lights, so these are going to be a great improvement for us. They are a fit for the nine, zero, zero, six, or 9,006 style bulb. So if you're not sure what bulb your vehicle has, if you haven't done so already, it's best to use our fit guide here at etrailer.com, put in your year, make and model, and then go from there to find the correct vehicle lights for you. Let's take a closer look at these lights and make sure that they're going to be a good fit for you anyway.So we're going to get our two bulbs and then two extension harnesses.

These are just to extend out that connection point. So if you have a tricky-to-get-to plug to connect these in, it's going to make that a little bit easier. So it just extends that out. You don't have to use them, but it does make it sometimes a little bit easier to get them installed. One thing to watch out for is that they are polarity sensitive.

So there's a little plus and minus for keeping track of which one is going to be positive and which one's negative. So match that up. The red wire is usually going to be . or the red wire should be your positive, and then the black wire should be your negative. Now I'm going to connect this to my setup here, to actually show you what the light looks like when it's turned on.So I'm just going to connect my alligator clamps in here.

Whenever you're connecting this, of course, you're just going to be plugging into your factory wiring, so you're not going to have to be using anything like this. But it is just a plug-and-play application, so pretty easy to get installed. Turn that on, you can see our light comes on. It's a nice, cool white light. So it helps to pour out better visibility when we drive around in dark conditions.

It also is precision designed, so that it's not going to blind other drivers. It's, it's going to give them a more precise throw for that light. And this is intended to be used for city driving or highway driving. So it can be used as your low beams without any issue.As far as the specs for these lights, they are IP67 rated, so that means they're pretty much impervious to dust and water. Can use these in all kinds of different weather conditions, no issues at all. The light output, the raw lumen output for each bulb is 3,000 lumens. The effective lumen output is 1,995, which is just under 2,000 lumens. Still a nice bright light. That second number is definitely the one to go off of. The raw lumen output is more of, in a perfect world with perfect circumstances as it has the potential to be up to 3000 lumens. After about 30 minutes of use, it does drop down a little bit more though, to 1,550 lumens, still a very bright light for us.The color temperature is going to be 6,500 Kelvin, which is that cool white color that you saw the wattage per bulb is 16 Watts. The power draw at 13 volts is 1.3 amps per bulb. And it has an operating voltage between 7.5 volts and 16 volts. It is covered by a two-year limited warranty. If you need that CAN bus anti-flicker harness, if your vehicle is equipped with one of those, that part number is going to be there on the screen. So that's an option for those vehicles that are equipped with CAN bus or PWM-style vehicles. So sometimes it's a necessary component that you can find right here at etrailer.com.
