Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Sylvania H1 XV or Ultra Vision halogen headlight bulbs. 55 watts, quantity two. That's right folks, you're gonna replace your standard equipment with these 55 watt halogen bulbs with the same grade and connection as your standard bulbs. Now these will produce a higher, brighter temperature color, 3,200 Kelvins to be exact, which is gonna emit a pure more defined edge than your standard bulbs and also give you a more neutral white color. It is recommended you replace both bulbs, so one on each headlight just to make sure you have a consistent light level on both sides of the vehicle, so you're not looking kind of funky going down the road and those kind of things.
And they give you that most optimum equal lighting experience. Now again, they do plug into your wiring harness, a very simple thing to install. Just follow your owner's manual instructions on changing 'em out. Their legal for on-road use, and they do meet all DOT regulations for lights. And one last thing, never touch the bulbs themselves with your bare fingers or skin, wear some gloves or use a cloth or something like that because the oils in your skin can deteriorate the longevity of the bulbs themselves.
