LED lights replace your Jeep Wrangler 4xe's sealed-beam headlamps for an updated look and increased light output. Each DOT-compliant light shoots a low, wide flood beam. Halo rings function as daytime running lights for a cool look.

Which Wire is for the Halo on the Vortex Headlight Conversion Kit # XIL-7RDKIT
The wire from the # XIL-7RDKIT that you need to run to the running light circuit on your vehicle is the White wire. You will just need butt connectors, like part # DW05744-5, to complete your installation.

What Color is the Housing of the Vortex Headlight Conversion Kit # XIL-7RDKIT
Actually the housing of the Vortex Headlight Conversion Kit # XIL-7RDKIT is black. The only portions of this light that are chrome are the reflective portions of the assembly that are used to focus the light. The housing won't be visible anyway as this unit just replaces the headlamp. If you are going for an all black theme on your vehicle these would work well. Can Vision X Vortex Headlight Conversion Kit Be Wired So High Beam And Low Beam Are Both On
I called my contact at Vision X about the Vortex Headlight Conversion Kit, part # XIL-7RDKIT. They told me that you can wire the # XIL-7RDKIT so that the high beam and low beam can be used at the same time. This light can also be used with the Halo ring function as a daytime running light.

Does the Vision X Vortex Headlight Conversion Kit Require an Anti-Flicker Harness
I can appreciate where you're coming from with this question since I experienced this issue when installing similar LED headlights in my JKU, which was remedied by installing an anti-flicker harness in-line. I reached out to Vision X and they informed me that the Vortex Headlight Conversion Kit # XIL-7RDKIT actually come with the anti-flicker harness built into the lights, so there are no additional parts needed to install and no need to worry about your new LED lights flickering. Can Vision X LED Headlights be Set Up to have Low and Bright Lights On at the Same Time
The wiring for the lights would not be the issue. The vehicle is set up to run the lights in a certain way. On some vehicles dual intensity bulbs are used and others have additional lights that come on when the brights are activated. You would have to fundamentally change the way the vehicle activated the lights in order to have the lows and highs on at the same time if the vehicle was not designed that way.
