When you need to haul something tall or bulky, the LiteRider makes it simple. The soft vinyl cover peels back from the Velcro side seals and rolls up in seconds. Quick Clip storage straps keep it secured neatly behind the cab while you drive, and it still sits low enough that it won’t block your rear window. Because the rails mount inside the bed, you can keep using your stake pockets and bed-rail accessories without removing the cover.

The LiteRider’s double-coated vinyl stays flexible down to -40 °F and is reinforced to handle sun, rain, and snow without shrinking or fading. The UV-blocking material keeps its shape and color through years of use. A reinforced flap along the tailgate helps keep out rain, dirt, and snow, so your gear stays dry and protected.
Closing the cover is easy—just unroll it and the AutoLatch snaps automatically into place. The cord-pull release lets you open it with one hand, and the added slide lock gives extra security when you want it. Locking it down doesn’t stop you from using your tailgate; it opens and closes as usual.

No need for tools or guesswork to keep the cover tight. The EZ-Dials at the front of the bed let you fine-tune tension with a quick turn, keeping the vinyl pulled snug in heat or cold. That means no sagging, no flapping, and a clean, flat fit year-round.

Powder-coated aluminum rails and bows resist rust and give the cover its strength without extra weight. The Tight Bite clamps lock the rails firmly to the bed using integrated ridges for a solid grip. The streamlined Slantback design sits 1-1/2" above the bed for a smooth look that also helps reduce drag—improving fuel efficiency by up to 10 percent.

Hi Lee, Thank you for your comment. The owners manual for the cover says that if the latch system doesnt engage, then the first step is to check the side rails for height and level, referring back to a step in the initial setup process, as well as inspecting the latches for jammed or broken parts.

You mentioned that the tab on the cover had rubbed the paint off on your truck. I wanted to see if would be able to send a picture?
