Features to know about

Climbing Icy Roads Without Losing Grip: V-Bar Studs Bite Into the Surface

When the roads glaze over or you find yourself in deep snow, the V-bar studs on these Titan Chain dual-tire chains dig right in. Each studded twist link acts like a small icebreaker, clawing through slick surfaces for solid traction. The ladder pattern helps you get moving from a stop and keeps braking steady when descending steep grades or navigating frozen driveways.

Tough Enough for Heavy Winter Use: Low-Carbon Steel Links Stand Up to Abuse

Made from strong low-carbon steel, these chains are built for both on-road and off-road driving in tough winter conditions. Each 0.312" (8 mm) thick link holds up well against wear from ice and packed snow, so you can count on them to last season after season. The durable construction means fewer worries about broken links or uneven wear when running through rough terrain.

Stay Secure Through Every Maneuver: Manual Fit That Won’t Slip Loose

These chains rely on straightforward manual tensioning—no cams or levers that can pop open while backing up or crawling over uneven ground. Once tightened, they hold steady through reversing, climbing, and turning. Add optional rubber or chain adjusters (sold separately) for an extra-snug fit that keeps everything centered and stable at speeds up to 30 mph.

Ready for Dual Tires and Packed Away When You’re Done: Complete 1-Axle Set

Each set includes two dual-tire chains—one for the driver’s side and one for the passenger’s side—so you’re fully covered across your rear axle. After use, just rinse, dry, and stow them in the reusable canvas storage bag that comes with the kit. Designed for 20" – 24" tires, these chains give you dependable traction when winter roads turn unforgiving.

Confirming Your Fit

If you know your tire size, you may think you won't need to test fit your new chains. But there are a lot of variables that can affect whether chains will fit your specific tires, including your tire type, the amount of air pressure in the tire, the amount of tread wear, and the tire manufacturer.

We recommend that you order chains as early in the season as possible to give yourself plenty of time to test fit the chains and reorder if needed. This way, you won't be stuck out in the cold later with snow chains that don't fit.

You can test fit these chains in your garage or driveway, but you'll want to wait until there's snow on the ground to actually drive with them. Likewise, if you're out in the snow and come across bare pavement, you'll want to pull over and remove the chains. These chains can cause damage to the bare pavement, your garage floor, or your vehicle if they break from the wear of riding on a harsh surface.

I have not used them but the shipping was fast and good just waiting for the snow so I can try them out

by:

I have purchased many products from etrailer
always
top notch.

These Chains look sick! Haven't got to use them yet but when the time comes I think that V-Bar link is going to make it feel like i'm driving on dry pavement. No slipping or sliding.

by:

Have ordered twice already some snow chains for my truck and I can say that its the best customer service. Thanks

by:

Fit like they should only problem was when the chains were assembled one cross link was twisted. Spent a half hour trying to untangle it but was an easy fix, uncrimped it and took the twist out and recrimped it and all is good

by:

Worked great for getting through the woods in around 8” snow! 2wd F350 dually getting some firewood off the trail. Definitely worth it!

by:

I haven't tried out the chains yet but the customer service was fantastic. They let me know that there was a problem getting one item on my order and were able to send the rest of my order, which arrived in just a couple of days.

by:

Unfortunately I haven't used the snow chains yet.

by:

As always very satisfied with my order and service. I love etrailer.
Great products.

by:

Perfect fit. Good installation instruct ions.

by:

Have not tried the chains on our church bus yet, but I am very happy with the customer service I received as well as the shipping time. Price is fair and shipping price was great. Quality of chains seems well made, I will update after use. Thank you.

by:

Great chains. Fast on.... fast off.... even in the cold. Bought them to use on one delivery job in the mountains for safety.
Fast standard shipping and delivered right on time.
Thank you.

I've been dealing with etrailer.com for a few years now and have not been disappointed. The website is easy to navigate and if you need further assistance, just call the 800 number and someone will happy to help out.

by:

I purchased these tire chains as an “insurance policy” for bad weather. I’ve not had to use them yet. They look well made and are quality steel. The price was decent and the customer service was excellent.

by:

Product looks great but since I ordered the Snow Chains in August I have not yet had an opportunity(?) to use them. Greg at E-Trailer was very helpful and the Video for Installation was excellent. I have bought many items from e-trailer and have continued to be impressed with service and delivery as well as with the products.

by:

Other than test fitting, I have not used in snowy road conditions yet. State law requires me to have snow chains due to my truck's weight.

by:

Product appears to be very good I haven't had to chain up my pick up yet but they test fitted well with the heavy duty rubber chain adjusters - bought more for chain laws in Colo and to pull LQ horse Trailer out of a bad spot

by:

Excellent product, well made and a good fit. etrailers web site is very easy to navigate and find the right part for what my application was. the carton was well packaged and shipping was very fast, Although I did order the wrong set of chains the first time due to my error I was able to return them and get a full refund and then reorder the correct chains, but a lesson well learned to pay attention to detail. I have not used the chains yet but I did do a test fit and they are a nice snug fit. I would surely recommend etrailer for your needs.

by:

Couldn't believe how fast these arrived! Great product, great packaging, fast delivery!

I have a Ford dually with a Salt Dogg spreader. During the last two snow storms (5/8 inches) in northwest NJ, I got stuck on small hills in four wheel drive. I looked on line and liked the etrailer website. i called to clarify a question on size (17 inch rims) and spoke to Adam. He was very helpful and knowledgeable--I ordered directly on the phone which was quick and easy (none of the typical on line ordering BS). The order came in several days and was packed well considering it weighed 65 lbs--the box was not damaged/dented in anyway (three cheers for UPS--I avoid FEDEX at all costs). I haven't used them yet, but they look heavy duty and well make. i'll be back after they are used.

by:

I loaded my 2WD Chevy 3500 dump with a ton of stone. I put the chains on my duals as in eTrailer's video spreading the chain out with V-cleats up, gathering the three lengths across the palms of my hands, and laying it over the tires. Worked like a charm. Put on the rubber bunji ring, hitched to my 14 ton trailer, and pulled it up an 8% incline in snow and mud without slipping. Totally worth it. My truck is worthless without chains in this weather.

by:

Chains carried 30day warranty. They broke any few weeks after their warranty expired and didn’t even last a full season. Do not invest your money into these poorly designed chains- too weak for heavy duty trucks. I’m very disappointed and glad they didn’t break anything else like break lines or something.

by:

Good service good quality fast shipping descent price. Thank You again

by:

Have not had to use these chains yet, but I did a practice run of hooking them up. They fit nicely and it was not too hard to install them.

by:

These chains fit perfectly and are well-made. The hooks are rugged and easy to use.
