Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Bulldog removable 6" poly caster assembly for 2" jack tubes. This caster assembly fits jacks with a 2" round inner tube in a 2,000 pound to 5,000 pound capacity. The actual wheel right here, that's a solid design. It's made from a polyolefin construction. It's durable and long lasting. The bracing right here as well as the tube, that's all made from a durable steel construction with protective finishing to keep it safe from rust and corrosion.
It does come with your standard pin and clip to secure it to the inner tube of your trailer jack. The wheel diameter measures around 6". The wheel width measures about 2".I also took a measurement from the bottom of the tube down here to the center of the pin hole. And that gave us a measurement of about 1" to 1-1/16 of an inch. And when you have this on your trailer jack, it reduces your overall capacity to 1,200 pounds.
And the 1,200 pound rating is engraved right here. So it says, "Capacity 1,200 pounds." So if you have a 5,000 pound trailer jack that your putting this on It will be reduced to 1,200 pounds when used in conjunction with this caster assembly. And it does have the rotating design. So that way the wheel can spin freely without rotating the inner tube of the jack.That's gonna do it for today's look at the Bulldog removable 6" poly caster assembly for 2" jack tubes.

This castor wheel is very strong and can withstand heavy loads if necessary to maneuver trailer into a tight area. I was quite impressed and pleased, suffice to say.

Removable wheel is an excellent product. I have great heartburn concerning the delivery of my order. I didn't like my order being handed off to the local post-office for delivery. First my order was received in Tallahassee , then shipped to Jacksonville and back to Tallahassee a couple of days later for delivery to the local postman. I got my order AFTER you wrote your email stating you got notice of my delivery. My order could have been here a couple of days earlier.

The Value Shipping method is the least expensive mode of shipping we offer and it often involves UPS handing the package off to USPS for final delivery. It is perfect for those that are not in a hurry to receive the order and would prefer to save a bit of money.
I would not buy this again. The wheel rubs badly against the side mounts, causing the black wheel material to be gouged off, and also preventing the wheel from rolling smoothly. I had to rig it with a couple of washers for spacers. Also, the ID of the mounting hole is 2", but the OD of the jack it's supposed to mount to is less than 1-7/8" making for a very sloppy fit. The geometry of the design is completely wrong, preventing the wheel from rotating freely, even though it rides on ball bearings. This thing is junk, especially for the price. Unfortunately, it looks like there just isn't a good robust, well-designed trailer jack wheel assembly out there. I'm probably going to end up fabricating my own.

I needed to be able to roll my utility trailer around so I cut off the Jack foot and drilled holes in the tube. The caster fits perfectly on the tube and is held in place with the supplied clevis pin. The poly caster assembly does the job.

I recieved my jack and caster wheel today. I was sort of suprised as I had only placed my order four days earlier late in the evening. Great service and just what I ordered. My Bulldog jack and wheel are extremely stout and well made. These folks (etrailer) go out of thier way to keep you up to date on your order. I would recommend and buy from them again.

Excellent no problems
I ordered the swivel jack and the 6- inch caster wheel to replace the skid plate on our trailer. The order was received in a timely fashion

Good wheel - good service. Might have to cut the post on my trailer down though as any wheel adds about 5" to the length and my post is fixed so it doesn't pivot up out of the way. No big deal though.

Its has held up well, however if you have a little weight on the trailer tongue the wheel does not swivel well at all.
Product was as expected at a reasonable price and quickly shipped. Local store that used to carry items like this doesn't anymore, so I was forced to go on-line. I'd rather shop local, but that is getting harder to do.
Product was represented as being a direct replacement but is not. Should have had an alignment indentation to align the pin holes. It does not. While it will work it's a pain to align the holes.
I had purchased the bulldog removable caster for my used trailer. The measurements were exactly as specified and fit perfectly. Great product for the price. There were a bunch of more expensive casters out there but I can tell this will suite my needs perfectly.
