Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this Extreme Heavy Duty Half-inch Drive Impact Wrench. Now, this is a nice commercial-duty impact wrench, has a twin hammer clutch to deliver powerful torque in short burst. And it's in a nice composite housing, which is lightweight, compact, cuts down on user fatigue. The composite housing is a combination of PVC and aluminum.

Now, it does offer a variable speed and torque settings right here on the back, offers three forward and one reverse setting. And I'm going to zoom in here just so you can see what we're talking about.If you look at the very back here, has this little knob, and you can see it's pointed to the smallest circle, which would be your first forward setting. So, that'll give you zero to 295 foot-pounds. If you click it to the second, a little bit larger circle, that's your second setting. That'll be zero to 450 foot-pounds.

And if you go all the way over to here, this is your third setting. That's zero to 885 foot-pounds. And all the way over here, if you go to the other end, that is your reverse setting, and that'll give you zero to 1,010 foot-pounds.Now, this does offer a nice balanced motor design for low vibration and comfort during the extended use. Total weight on this unit is just under five pounds. Again, the size on it is a half-inch drive.

The maximum torque in reverse, we've mentioned is 1,010 foot-pounds. Forward torque, the maximum is 885 foot-pounds. And the normal working torque is about 750 foot-pounds. Free speed on this is 9,500 RPMs. Blows per minute is 1,250.

Air pressure it uses is a 90 PSI, has an average air consumption of seven cubic feet per minute. And you connect your air right here to the bottom. We pull out this little plug, put your fitting in there, has an air inlet size of a quarter inch. It is recommended to use a hose diameter of three eighths of an inch.
