These custom clips and pads let you mount Thule Evo Clamp or Edge Clamp feet on your vehicle with a naked roof. The clips are easy to install - just slide them into the feet until they click. Rubber pads help protect your roof from scratches.

Secure, Click-In Installation
To complete installation, place the fully assembled rack on your roof at the location specified in the fit kit manual. Tighten the rack in place with the torque tool included with the feet. The single attachment point bolt lets you quickly secure the crossbars to the feet and the feet to your door jambs simultaneously. An audible click from the torque tool indicates the rack is secured properly.
Protection for Your Roof
The rubber-coated steel clips and molded rubber pads protect your vehicle's paint from scratches and abrasions. The pads easily slide onto the bottom of each foot, and they are specifically designed to fit the shape and contour of your roof.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this fit kit for your Thule Evo Clamp and Edge Clamp roof rack feet. Now this has been designed to fit your Jeep Wagoneer S 5-door SUV. You do wanna confirm that fit with our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. You'll just input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. This fit kit has these clips.
They're gonna be very easy to install on your Evo Clamp or Edge Clamp feet. You're simply going to remove the lockable covers on the feet and then slide the clips into the clip retainers and the clips will click into place when properly installed. Then, to complete that installation, you're gonna place the fully assembled rack on your roof at the location specified in the fit kit manual. You'll tighten the rack in place with the torque tool that's included with the feet, and the single attachment point bolt's going to let you quickly secure the crossbars to the feet and the feet to your door jams. At the same time, that audible click from the torque tool is gonna indicate that the rack is securely and properly in place.
These rubber coated, go back to these clips real quick, these are rubber coated clips and then these are molded rubber pads. So all this is gonna work together to protect the paint of your vehicle from scratches and abrasions. One year in, this fit kit and the whole system have worked very well on my Kia EV6.
I miss the simplicity, in terms of cost as well as installation and removal, of the old Thule rectangular-bar racks, but this system looks better, is quiet, won't sag, and seems more robust.

It took a long time for Thule to make a footkit for the 2021 Hyundai Elantra, but it was worth the wait. The fit on the car, carrying two kayaks, is very secure. We've had it a year with no problems.
