Today we're going to be taking a look at the case K-Source replacement side mirror for the passenger side of your vehicle. This product fits a 2003 to 2010 Volkswagen Beetle. The side view mirror's a direct replacement for the passenger side factory mirror on your vehicle. It has been modeled after the manufacturer's original looking fit. It's going to feature power remote capability, that way you can adjust the mirror face position by using the factory power controls from inside the vehicle. It's going to feature heated mirror and glass. It's going to do a great job at clearing frost and ice and reduce fogging. Here on this end we're going to have the amber light on the side of the mirror.
That's going to flash when your turn signal is activated. It's going to feature the OE grade convex glass with direct surface plating to reflect clear images. The front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome. Then the convex lens provides a wide angle view that really helps reduce blind spots. It will feature a breakaway design so the mirror will fold when it's struck from the front or the back to help deter breakage. It's going to feature a nice, durable plastic houser with a black finish.
The cover can be painted to match your vehicle if desired. It's a no drill installation. It's going to use your same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror. The mirror will then plug into the existing electrical wiring. This mirror will need to be assembled before installation. It does not come assembled.
For demonstration purposes we already assembled the mirror, just to give you an idea of that it's going to look like. The original equipment, or OE number is 1C1857508ABGRU. Please keep in mind that the power remote capability, heated glass and turn signal of the mirror will work only if your vehicle is already equipped with those functions.
