Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this K Source replacement side view mirror. This is gonna be a direct replacement for the driver side factory mirror on your 2013 - 2015 Lexus ES 300H and 350. This is modeled after your Lexus's original look and fit so you really shouldn't be able to tell that it's a replacement mirror. Should look like it came with your Lexus right from the factory. So you don't have to worry about that pieced together from the junkyard, sort of, look.
Everything should look very integrated and complete again for you. And because this does feature that same manufacturer's look and fit, it is going to be a very simple installation. You're not gonna have to do any drilling. It's gonna have the same footprint and mounting points as the factory mirror and it will plug right into your existing electrical wiring. That's going to give you the power remote capability, so you can adjust the near face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle.
It's also going to give you the heated mirror glass, so it can clear frost, and ice, and help reduce fogging. We also have the amber light here on the side, that's going to flash when your turn signal is activated. And we also have the puddle lamp underneath that's going to illuminate the area under the mirror. So all those features, of course, are only going to be compatible with a vehicle that is already set up for those functions. It's not going to add those capabilities to a vehicle that doesn't already have them.
This mirror does not support the auto dimming or memory functions, so if you had those functionalities before this might be a little bit less for you. It does not support the blind spot detection either. So just a few shortcomings compared to the original. But overall, a really great replacement for you. It is gonna be a OE grade construction, so gonna be same quality as the original.
The front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome, so it's gonna give you a nice, clear image. It is a flat lens like most driver's side mirror, so it's gonna give you a true representation of the object size. So as you're changing lanes or backing up, you're not gonna have to worry about not knowing how far back other vehicles are or obstacles. And this does have the breakaway design, so the mirror will fold in when it's struck to help deter breakage. So if you we're to run into a parking post, or the side of your garage, or something like that, it's gonna help fold in, absorb some of that impact, to reduce the chance of damaging it. It does have a durable plastic housing with this black finish, so it is going to look really nice on your vehicle. This can be painted to match your vehicle's color, if you like. And for those of you who do need a little bit more reassurance that this is going to work for your vehicle. And you can see the original equipment numbers on the screen there. So if you're going through your owner's manual or when you remove the original mirror, if you see either one of those numbers, you can trust this is gonna be the replacement that you need. Transaction with you was pleasant. However,the after-market product is inferior to the dealer's, in that the HEATING ELEMENT does NOT cover the entire surface of the mirror & takes much longer to work.
The passenger side mirror for my 2013 Hyundai Elantra proved a no-sweat installation and all the electrics worked at a quarter the cost of a factory replacement mirror.

Timely arrival, installation is not easy but doable, with basic skills and minimal tools it can be done in a few hours. [online video] helps. Fit great, worked as it should and this guy is happy. Quality is impressive and seems well built; time will tell. Customer service is excellent, emailed them with questions, next day response, convinced me this is a good quality company and wants to keep my business.

Works great had it installed at the dealership. Would not accept my chrome piece that snaps into the back of the mirror, (different tab locations from OEM) but I needed the mirror more than the chrome. Would highly recommend for replacement.
When i ordered the driver side mirror, i was disappointed to find that it did not match my original toyota mirror. Since i only needed to replace one mirror, having to order a passenger side mirror to replace a perfectly good mirror was not ideal. My toyota factory mirror covers do not fit your mirror and your mirror is bigger and is a different shape.
Arrived on time, appears to be a perfect match. Will follow up if any post-install problems. Customer service on the transaction was excellent.
I bought this mirror online a while ago for my Santa Fe sport AWD 2017, when I was buying that time I thought it will have all functions in a same way my old side mirror performing that time. But my BSD system in Car stopped working since the first day of install as this new mirror wont support that Blind Spot detection or this mirror only for heat and signal. Overall, I would like to recommend this mirror.
....although the delivery of the item I ordered was longer than originally committed to by etrailer, when the item finally arrived, the product was as described and a factory replacement for the vehicle.

Fits my 2018 Rav4 Adventure. Watched [online] videos on how to replace. Completed the project in about 30 mins. (Pretty easy) Dealership quoted me at ~$500 for the repair and install so saved a lot of money in the long run. Package shipped quick and staff alerted me about shipping every step of the way. etrailer got us a wonderful looking replacement mirror, the electric remote and lights work like new, and the customer service was over-the-top. The dealer wanted $450+ to replace a side mirror on a 2010 Kia, but etrailer's $70 replacement is as good as new, easy to install, and brought my daughter's car back to life. Mirrors for 03 Silverado. Trailer mirrors before removal and the new mirrors I purchased. Power with manual fold, heated and signal in mirror. Easy change and exact fit.
Appears well constructed and perfect fit. Wire harness was perfect. 100% replication of functions. Mirror to door seal may leak over time. Factory seal was thicker, and could not re-use due to minor difference in mirror construction. Also, factory wire harness had a protective snap-in shroud and a few more wires, but does not appear to matter. I would recommend. My truck is 2007 Silverado Classic.
