Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com.Today we're going to take a quick look at the K Source replacement side mirror. This is going to be a direct replacement for the passenger side factory mirror on your 1987 through 1989 Toyota 4Runner, as well as your 1987 through 1988 Toyota Pickup.This is modeled after your Toyota's original look and fit, so you're really not going to be able to tell that it's a replacement mirror. It's going to look like it came with your Toyota, right from the factory. So you don't have to worry about your vehicle looking like it was pieced together at a junkyard or something like that. It's all going to integrate well and have a nice seamless aesthetic to it.This does have the manual mirror face adjustment, so that you can get that angle to the correct adjustment for you.

It is made of the OE grade components, so it's going to be the same quality as your original mirror that came with your Toyota from the factory. You can see the front does have a Chrome finish that's going to give it a nice reflective quality, so you get a nice clear image. It does have a convex lens, like most of your passenger side mirrors to provide you that wide angle view to help reduce those blind spots.Like your original, it does have the breakaway design, so the mirror will fold in if it strikes a pole, or side of your garage, something like that. It's going to try and help absorb some of that impact to prevent the damage to the mirror itself. This does have a nice durable plastic housing with a textured black finish.

So not only is it going to be very durable, it's also going to look nice and integrate well with your vehicle.As far as the installation, it's going to be very simple. It's got the same footprint as your original mirror, so basically all you have to do is take your old mirror off, put this one in its place. You've got screws here, if you need them, where you can reuse the original hardware that is on your original mirror. So very easy to get installed, not going to have to worry about drilling new holes or anything like that. It's all going to fit exactly like your original.Now for those of you who may need a little bit more reassurance that this is actually going to work for you, this is an exact replacement for the original equipment number that you see on the screen there.

So if you look in your owner's manual, you see that number, you know this is the mirror that you need.This is just the passenger side mirror.
