Michael: Hi there I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the K-Source replacement side mirror. This is going to be a direct replacement for your 2011 and 2012 Nissan Leafs driver's side factory mirror. It's modeled after the original look and fit of your Nissan Leaf. So you're really not going to be able to tell that it's a replacement. It's going to look like it came with your vehicle from the factory.

You can see, we do have the cover here, but comes disassembled. However, it's very easy to just click that in place for once you do that, it is pretty difficult to remove it. So I have it removed for now, just for demonstration purposes. You can paint this to match your vehicle's color and make it look even more like it came from the factory and just recommend doing that before you install it, it's going to make it a lot easier, so you don't get paint on the rest of the mirror.Just like your original mirror, this does have the power remote capability. So you can adjust the mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle.

It's got the OEM grade material. So it's the same quality as the mirror that came with your vehicle. You're not going to have to worry about it breaking down or anything. The front of the glass is plated with reflective chrome. So it's going to be a nice, clear image, and it is a flat lens.

So it's going to reflect the true representation of the objects behind you. You're not going to have to worry about any warping or distortion or anything like that. Just like most mirrors on the market today, this does have a breakaway design. So it's going to fold in, if you back into a pole or something like that, to help try and minimize the amount of damage done, it does have a durable plastic housing with a textured black finish.And as far as the installation is going to be super simple, it's got the same mounting points as the factory mirror, and it's going to plug in to your existing electrical wiring. So basically you can just take the old mirror off, put this in, and you're ready to go.
