Today we're going to be taking a look at the K Source replacement side mirror for the driver's side of your vehicle. This product fits a 2006 to 2010 Infiniti M35 and Nissan M45. The side view mirror is a direct replacement for the driver's side factory mirror on your vehicle. This has been modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit. It's going to feature power remote capability; that way you can adjust the mirror face position by using the factory power controls from within the vehicle. When it comes to the glass, this is a heated mirror glass.
It's going to do a great job at clearing frost and ice, as well as reducing fogging, and it's going to feature the memory function, so the car's computer will recognize the pre-set mirror position and adjust automatically. It's an OE-grade, flat-glass with first-surface surface plating to reflect clear images. It also features a breakaway design, so if the mirror is struck from the front or from the back, it'll fold in or away to help deter breakage. The housing is a durable, plastic construction with a nice, black finish. Now, this can be painted to match the vehicle, if desired, and then here, at the mounting location, it's an easy, no-drill installation. It's going to use the same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror.
It's got the 3 studs. Each stud's going to get a nut attached to it, and those are included, and it's going to have the adhesive stripping that goes on the mirror as well. The original equipment, or OE, number, is 96302-EH100. Please keep in mind that the power remote capability, heated glass, and memory function of this mirror will work only if your vehicle is already equipped with those functions. Worked the way I needed it to
Great review online; however, the '07 Acura passenger side mirror sold to me does not have the lighted and turn signal option on the mirror. The online review stated the mirror was for an '07 Acura. I don't think Acura made two options, one solid plain mirror (which I purchased) and one mirror with the lighted function. I hope I can return the mirror if I find a mirror with the lighted option. Other than that, great presentation online.
