Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the K Source replacement mirror. This is going to be a direct replacement for your 2012 through 2014 Chevrolet Equinox as well as your 2012 through 2014 GMC Terrain. It's going to replace the passenger side, side mirror that came with your truck and as you can see, it is modeled after the manufacturer's original look, so you're really not going to be able to tell that it's a replacement mirror. It's going to look like it came right from the factory.
Like your original mirror, it does have the power remote capability so you can adjust the mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle. It also has the built-in spotter mirror to help reduce the blind spots. It is OE grade, so it's going to have the same quality as the original mirror that came with your truck.The front of the glass is plated with reflective chrome, so it's going to give it a nice clear reflection, and it's a convex lens to provide a wide angle view that's going to help, again, reduce your blind spots. It features a breakaway design, so the mirror will fold when struck to help prevent any sort of damage, and it's got a durable plastic housing with a textured black finish. As far as installing it, it's going to be very easy to do.
It's going to mount exactly the same way that the original mirror did. You've got your hardware here to get it installed and it's going to plug right into the existing wiring on your truck. Does come with a 90-day warranty from K Source, and it does come with just the one mirror. That's going to complete our look at the K Source replacement mirror.
