Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this case source replacement side view mirror. This is gonna be a direct replacement for the driver's side factory mirror on your 2010 through 2014 Ford van. Now this is modeled after the Ford's original look and fit. So, you really shouldn't even be able to tell that this is a replacement mirror. Should look like it came with your Ford van, right from the factory.

And so, you don't have to worry about that pieced together from the junkyard sort of look. Now this is also going to have the same footprint as the original. So, it's going to be very easy to get installed, not gonna have to drill new holes or anything like that. On these mounting points fit in exactly where the factory mirror did. So, it's basically as simple as removing your old mirror, putting this new one on and you're ready to go.

This does have a manual mirror face adjustment. So, you can get the right angle to ensure that you can see what's coming up behind you and as you're backing up. This does also have the built-in spotter mirror. That's gonna help minimize those blind spots and so, you can see back behind. With those vans it's sometimes harder to see what's coming up behind you.

So, this is going to make sure that you don't have any of those blind spots. The front of the glass is plated with reflective chrome. So, it's gonna give you a nice, clear image and it is a flat lens like most driver's side mirrors, actually you're not gonna have to worry about distortion or bending or anything like that. It's gonna give you a true representation of the object size coming up behind you. Does also have the breakaway design, so it's going to fold in on itself, if you we're to run into a parking post or the side of your garage or something like that.

It will fold in to try and help absorb some of that impact, reduce the amount of damage done to the mirror housing. But it is a durable plastic housing with this textured black finish. So, it's gonna hold up really well for you, Look really nice as well. But for those of you who do need a little bit more reassurance that this is going to be a direct replacement for your factory mirror, this is going to replace the original equipment number that you see on the screen there. So, if you're going through your owner's manual or you pull off the original and you see that number anywhere you can trust this is going to work for you. And this is just the driver's side.
