Today we're going to be taking a look at the K source replacement side mirror for the driver's side. This product fits a 2007 to 2013 Chevrolet Avalanche, 2007 to 2014 Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Suburban, Chevrolet Tahoe, GMC Yukon and Yukon XL, and 2007 GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado New body, 2008 to 2013 GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado, and the 2014 GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado 2500. The side view mirror is a direct replacement for the driver's side factory mirror on your vehicle. It's modeled after the manufacturers original look and fit. It's going to feature power remote capability, that way you can adjust the mirror face position by using the factor power controls from inside the vehicle, and it's going to feature the heated mirror glass, which is going to do a great job at clearing frost and ice as well as reducing fogging. Now that glass is an OE Grade flat glass with first surface plating to reflect clear images, so the front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome and then the flat lens reflects true representation of the object size. It does feature a break away design so if it's struck from the front or from the back it will fold to help deter breakage. The housing is a durable plastic housing with a nice textured black finish.
We'll see the full design here with the mirror, really nice sleek design. Now, it's an easy, no drill installation. It's going to use the same footprint 00:01:23 and mounting points of your factory mirror. It's going to have the foam pad right here. You're going to have three mounting studs, and then each stud has a nut that goes with it and that's all included.
Then the mirror's going to plug in to the existing electrical wire on the vehicle. Now the original equipment or OE number is 20843116. Please keep in mind that the power remote capability and heated glass with the mirror will work only if your vehicle already has those functions, and this mirror does not support the memory or power folding functions, and it does not have a funnel 00:01:55 lamp. The product was as advertised but I was more impressed with the service from etrailer.com. The supplier was a bit slow but the folks at etrailer.com kept me in the loop the entire way. It was very much appreciated as my wife was very anxious about not having the side mirror. The mirror fit and worked on the first try. Just one word of caution, there are no installation instructions with the mirror so you need to be comfortable taking a door panel off and doing the install. Kudos to Megan and the other staff that were so helpful!
My only issue is that I asked for the passenger side view mirror, for my 2012 Subaru Forrester. My vehicle, the side view mirrors also have lights on both, so oncoming drivers can get an additional signal, letting them know which way I am turning. The mirror sent does not have that. So now One mirror has it, and the other side does not. Great

Approximately a 25 minute installation. Great product. Arrived in less than 5 days after ordering. Pretty much a plug and play application. I need to get another push plug, because the ears on one of the inner door mounts broke, while removing it. That stuff happens. Great purchase experience. Highly recommend.
