Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the K Source Passenger Side Replacement Electric Side View Mirror. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 1999 to 2002 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks. And on a custom fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model of vehicle, and it'll show if this will work for your application.
Now this is a side view mirror. It is a direct replacement for the passenger side factory mirror that's on your vehicle. And as you can see, it is modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit. This does offer power remote capability. Basically, you can adjust the mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle.
Now the glass on this, it is a OE grade convex glass. Has first surface plating to reflect clear images. Front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome. And it is a convex lens, so it does provide a wide angle view that will reduce blind spots. It is a breakaway design.
Basically this mirror will fold when it's struck to prevent breakage. You can see it's in a nice, durable plastic house with a black and a chrome finish. And it is an easy, no drill installation. Has the same footprint and mounting points as the factory mirror. And basically right here, the mirror will plug into your existing electrical wiring.
Now this part number does replace the OE part number of 15172248. This is for a of one passenger side mirror. Now one note I do wanna mention is the power remote capability of this mirror will work only if your vehicle already has that function.
