Hi, everyone, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look today at our K Source replacement passenger side mirror. Now folks, this is gonna be electric with LED signal. And again, it's a passenger side only. Now this does fit a '98 through 2004 Ford F-150s, some 250s, depending on the year, so make sure you're double-checking our fit guide here at etrailer.com. Be sure to get the right parts the first time.
Now this side-view mirror is a direct replacement for the passenger's side factory mirror on your vehicle. You've got the plug here. It is a powered remote capability, and it is modeled after the OE look, and it's gonna look just the same and give you the same color, features, those kind of things. It does face a position with the, er, you can adjust the face position rather here with the factory power controls because they have that same plug on there that matches up to that factory harness. It's gonna give you a red LED arrow here whenever you're using your turn signal as activated.
It's got a high-intensity Muth LEDs, so they're gonna be brighter than your standard turn signal LEDs that are out there. It is an OE grade. It's got the convex glass here with first-surface plating, so that's gonna reflect a more clear image for you. And the front of the glass is plated with reflective chrome. Now the convex lens provides a wide-angle view that reduces blind spots, and it has a nice breakaway design here.
That way, if someone hits it or whatever, it's going to fold and everything when struck to deter breakage. Now, it has a nice durable plastic housing with a nice black finish. And the cover can be painted here if you want to match your vehicle. Now, it is an easy, no-drill application. You've got the same studs here that line up and match up to the holes on the door of your vehicle.
And like I said before, the plug simply plugs right in to that same OE plug connection. Well folks, that's gonna wrap it up. Again, this is gonna be one quantity, one of the passenger's side replacement side mirror. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.

Thanks for the product. Just received today. Looks like exactly what I ordered. Realizing problem of Covid, but the only problem was excessive time for shipment.

The product is a good fit. Very close to the original manufacturer mirror. Installing it was straightforward and I had no issues with the fit.
The only issue I have is with the products availability. The website did not state that it was on backorder when I purchased it, so I had to wait over three weeks for delivery. Not a deal-breaker, but a heads up before I purchased would have been good so I could decide whether or not to proceed. I'm glad I didn't absolutely need the mirror by a certain day. Otherwise this would be a different review entirely.
I definitely recommend etrailer for purchasing though. All of their products I have ordered are very good quality.
The good outweighs the bad with this replacement. The new K-Source mirror seems like it gives me a little bit wider angle of visibility than the OEM mirror. I appreciate that, but I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't simply just swap out the K-Source cover with my OEM cover. Truck looks like it has an eyepatch now! All in all, almost considered buying the right hand side for a matching set. I'll leave it for now.
