Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the K-Source replacement side mirror. This is going to be a direct replacement for the passenger side factory mirror on your 2014 and newer Jeep Cherokee. It is modeled after your Cherokee's original look and fit. So you're really not going to be able to tell that this is a replacement mirror.
It's going to look like it came with your Cherokee, right from the factory. The backside here does have a durable plastic housing, but this can be painted to match your vehicles color. So again, making it more integrated with the look of your vehicle. So it's going to look like it came with your vehicle, right from the factory. You're not going to have to worry about looking like you've pieced together parts from the junk yard or anything like that.
It's going to give you a nice clean finished look.This mirror does have the power remote capability, so you can adjust the mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle. It also has the heated mirror glass. So it's going to clear that frost and ice and help reduce fogging on those chilly mornings and cold days. It's got the amber lights on it. So that will flash when your turn signal is activated.
And on the bottom, we have the puddle lamp, which is going to eliminate the area under the mirror. So you can see if there's a puddle there before you step out of your Jeep. This does not have the blind spot detection, the BSDS. So that's one feature that is not included that you might have had on your original. It does have the memory function.
So your car's computer will recognize the preset positions. If you have different drivers set at different angles, it will automatically adjust to that.Now, keep in mind all those functionalities, the power remote capability, the heated glass, the turn signal, the puddle lamp, and the memory function will only work if your vehicle already has those functions. So if your original mirror could do those things, this mirror will be able to as well. It just won't add those functions to a vehicle that isn't already set up for those. This is an OE grade product. So it's going to have the same high quality materials as your original. The front of the glass is plated with reflective chrome. So you're going to get a nice, clear image. It does have a convex lens, like most of your passenger side mirrors, so that it's going to give you a wide angle view to help reduce those blind spots. It does have the breakaway design. So if you we're to bump into a parking post or the side of your garage or something like that, the mirror is going to fold in on itself to try and help absorb some of that shock and deter any sort of damage to the mirror itself.And as far as getting this installed, it's going to be very simple. It's got the same mounting footprint as your original. So really, all you're going to have to do is take your old one off, get this one in its place, plug it into the same slots as your original mirror, and you're going to be ready to go. You're not going to need to do any sort of drilling or gluing or anything like that. It's all going to line up exactly like your original mirror did. Now, for those of you who do need a little bit more reassurance that this is the mirror that you need, this is a replacement for the original equipment number that you see on the screen there. So if you go through your owner's manual or you see it on your original mirror, you see that number on the screen, on your mirror, this is going to be the mirror that you meet.And this is just the passenger side mirror. Transaction with you was pleasant. However,the after-market product is inferior to the dealer's, in that the HEATING ELEMENT does NOT cover the entire surface of the mirror & takes much longer to work.
The passenger side mirror for my 2013 Hyundai Elantra proved a no-sweat installation and all the electrics worked at a quarter the cost of a factory replacement mirror.

Timely arrival, installation is not easy but doable, with basic skills and minimal tools it can be done in a few hours. [online video] helps. Fit great, worked as it should and this guy is happy. Quality is impressive and seems well built; time will tell. Customer service is excellent, emailed them with questions, next day response, convinced me this is a good quality company and wants to keep my business.

Works great had it installed at the dealership. Would not accept my chrome piece that snaps into the back of the mirror, (different tab locations from OEM) but I needed the mirror more than the chrome. Would highly recommend for replacement.
When i ordered the driver side mirror, i was disappointed to find that it did not match my original toyota mirror. Since i only needed to replace one mirror, having to order a passenger side mirror to replace a perfectly good mirror was not ideal. My toyota factory mirror covers do not fit your mirror and your mirror is bigger and is a different shape.
Arrived on time, appears to be a perfect match. Will follow up if any post-install problems. Customer service on the transaction was excellent.
I bought this mirror online a while ago for my Santa Fe sport AWD 2017, when I was buying that time I thought it will have all functions in a same way my old side mirror performing that time. But my BSD system in Car stopped working since the first day of install as this new mirror wont support that Blind Spot detection or this mirror only for heat and signal. Overall, I would like to recommend this mirror.
....although the delivery of the item I ordered was longer than originally committed to by etrailer, when the item finally arrived, the product was as described and a factory replacement for the vehicle.

Fits my 2018 Rav4 Adventure. Watched [online] videos on how to replace. Completed the project in about 30 mins. etrailer got us a wonderful looking replacement mirror, the electric remote and lights work like new, and the customer service was over-the-top. The dealer wanted $450+ to replace a side mirror on a 2010 Kia, but etrailer's $70 replacement is as good as new, easy to install, and brought my daughter's car back to life. Mirrors for 03 Silverado. Trailer mirrors before removal and the new mirrors I purchased. Power with manual fold, heated and signal in mirror. Easy change and exact fit.
Appears well constructed and perfect fit. Wire harness was perfect. 100% replication of functions. Mirror to door seal may leak over time. Factory seal was thicker, and could not re-use due to minor difference in mirror construction. Also, factory wire harness had a protective snap-in shroud and a few more wires, but does not appear to matter. I would recommend. My truck is 2007 Silverado Classic.
