Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the K-Source replacement side mirror. This is going to be a direct replacement for the passenger side mirror on your 2014, through 2020 Jeep Cherokee. It is modeled after your original look and fit of the Cherokee's passenger side mirror. So you're really not going to be able to tell that it's a replacement.

It's going to work just like the original, kind of blend in nicely. It's going to look like it came with the vehicle right from the factory.Like your original mirror, this is power remote capable. So you can adjust the mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle. Keep in mind, that's only available if your vehicle already has that feature, it won't add that functionality to your vehicle unless your vehicle already has it. This mirror does not support the memory function, and it also does not have a turn signal.

So if yours originally did, it will lose a little bit of functionality with this replacement mirror. But it is an OE grade product. So it's going to have the same quality materials as your original. It's got a contact lens to it, which is going to help prevent blind spots, reduce blind spots rather, because you're going to be able to see a wider angle view. It's got a reflective chrome on the front.

So it's going to give you a nice, clear image so you can easily see the things coming up behind you.It's got a breakaway design. So if you we're to back into the side of your garage or maybe a parking post, something like that, it is going to fold in to help try and minimize the amount of damage to the unit itself. But it is made of a very durable plastic housing with a textured black finish. So it should hold up very well and continue to look nice for a long time.As far as the installation, it's going to be very simple because it is modeled after your original mirror. It's going to have the same mounting points.

So basically all you're going to have to do is take your old mirror off, disconnect it from the wiring connecting to your vehicle, and then plug this one in and mount it in the exact same spot. You're not going to have to drill holes or anything like that. It's going to be very easy. You can do it yourself. I would say probably half hour to an hour.
