Today we're going to be taking a look at part number KS60099C. This is the K-Source Replacement Side Mirror for the passenger side of your vehicle. This product is designed to fit a 1997 to 2001 Jeep Cherokee. The side view mirror's going to be a direct replacement for the passenger side factory mirror on your vehicle. It is molded after the manufacturer's original look and fit. It does have power remote capability.
That way you can adjust the mirror face position with the factory power controls from within the vehicle. We're going to have the OE grade convex glass with first surface plating. That's designed to reflect clear images. The front of the glass is going to be plated with a reflective chrome and then the convex lens is going to provide that wide-angle view that reduces blind spots and really comes in handy. It does feature a break away design. That way the mirror will fold when it's struck to help prevent permanent damage or breakage. We're going to have the durable, plastic housing.
It's got the nice black finish on it. It's an easy, no drill installation. It's going to use the same footprint and mounting point as the factory mirror. The mirror does plug in to the existing electrical wiring. The plugs are going to match up perfectly and then they're going to snap lock together for a nice, tight, secure fit. Now the original equipment or OE number for this mirror is 55154948AC.
With this part number, you're going to get one mirror, and again it's for the passenger side. Please keep in mind that the power remote capability of this mirror will work only if your vehicle already has that function. That's going to do it for today's look at part number KS60099C.
