Today we are going to be taking a look at the K-Source replacement side mirror for the passenger side of your vehicle. This product fits a 2005 to 2011 Dodge Dakota, 2010 to 2011 RAM Dakota and 2006 to 2009 Mitsubishi Raider. The side view mirror is a direct replacement for the passenger side factory mirror on your vehicle. It is modeled after the manufacturers original looking fit. It does feature power remote capability. That way you can adjust the mirror face position, but using the factory power controls from inside the vehicle. It is also going to have heated mirror glass, so it is going to do a great job at clearing frost and ice as well as reducing fogging. It is going to be OE grade convex glass for first surface plating to reflect clear images.
The convex lens provides a wide angle view that really help reduce blind spots. The mirror also features a break away design, so if it is hit from the front or from the back, it will fold in or out, to really help deter breakage. The housing on the unit is made from a durable plastic construction and it is going to have a nice textured black finish. It is an easy no drill installation. It is going to use the same foot print and mounting point as your factory mirror. It is going to have the three studs and then it is also going to come one nut per stud, and then the mirror is going to plug into the existing electrical wiring. The original equipment and OE numbers are 55077624AE and 55077624AI. Please keep in mind that the powering mode capability and the heated glass in the mirror will work only if your vehicle is already equipped with those functions.
