Today we're going to be taking a look at the K-Source replacement side mirror. This is for the driver's side of your vehicle. It's going to fit a 2006 to 2010 Jeep Commander. The side view mirror is a direct replacement for the driver's side factory mirror on your vehicle. It's modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit. It does feature power mode capability that we can adjust the mirror face position by using the factory power controls from inside the vehicle.

It's also going to have heated mirror glass that's going to do a great job at clearing frost and ice, as well as reduce fogging. When it comes to the glass, we're looking at OE grade flat glass with first surface plating to reflect clear images, and the mirror is going to feature a breakaway design, so if the mirror is struck from the front or from the back, it will fold. That way when it is struck, it's going to help deter breakage or reduce the risk of permanent breakage. The housing on the unit is made from a durable plastic construction. It's got a nice black finish. It's an easy no-drill installation. It's going to use the same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror.

It's going to have the three mounting studs there, and it's going to come with the hardware. It's going to come with three nuts, and then the mirror is going to plug into the existing electrical wiring. You've got the plug right here. The original equipment or OE number is 55396637AD, and please keep in mind that the power remote capacity and heated glass of the mirror will work only if your vehicle already has those functions, and this mirror does not support the memory function.
