Flipping on the ceiling light in your RV shouldn't leave shadows. This matte black 1-bulb fixture uses a clear glass dome to push full illumination, so your dinette stays lit.
Dark corners and shadowy spots happen when a shade blocks or diffuses too much light. This fixture uses a clear glass, dome-style shade that keeps the bulb's output visible instead of hiding it behind an opaque cover. You get more usable light across the space, so counters, seating, and walkways stay lit when you need them.
Old fixtures can make the whole interior feel dated, even after you've cleaned up everything else. This one pairs a matte black fixture with a clear glass shade, so it reads modern without looking busy. You end up with a light that blends into the ceiling while still looking intentional when it's off.
In an RV, you don't have room for lights that hang down and get in the way. This is a ceiling-mounted fixture meant for RV interior use, so it stays up where you need it instead of crowding the space below. You keep your headroom and get lighting where you actually use the room.
Some fixtures spread light with multiple bulbs, but they also add more parts to deal with. This one runs a 1-bulb configuration, so the setup stays straightforward. When you're swapping the bulb or keeping the fixture looking clean, there's less going on overhead.
Ceiling space can get crowded fast with vents, fans, and cabinets nearby. With overall dimensions of 10" wide x 10" tall, this fixture stays compact where space is limited. It fits cleanly into tighter areas so you can add light without taking over the ceiling.

Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Gustafson Dinette Light. It's got a clear shade and it has a nice matte black finish on the main assembly up here. So getting a little closer, it measures 10 inches tall overall from the base of the dome to the flat part here of the mounting surface. And then 10 is wide diameter.
And as you can see, it's got a nice clear bowl here or dome, and it runs on 12 volt power. And it has a nice little pressure switch right here that you can simply push on and off. And it does come with the included bulb. Now there are two holes up here in the assembly. There's no hardware included, but you should have hardware already inside your ceiling fixture assembly that these bolts up into place with.
If you don't have that hardware, you should be able to source it locally at any hardware store near you. I do wanna shut off the overhead lights, so we can take a look at this in the dark. And I do apologize for the dome being a little dusty or whatnot. So zooming out here, you can see puts off a nice warm white light. And as you can see, I hold up a little higher, you get a better idea of how much light it's putting out down.
And again, this would be great for an RV camper, maybe a dinette area or something of that nature. So again, folks, this is the Gustafson Dinette Light with the clear shade. I'm Steven with etrailer. Reach out if you have questions about this or any other light assembly we carry. And have a great day.
