Hi, everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at the Fogatti InstaShower 9. So folks, we offer this in either a black door option or a white door option. And those are two different part numbers, so make sure you're on the right product page for the color that you're looking for. The black door is item number FG25FR as an assemble, and the white door assembly is FG85FR. Now, these are the third generation InstaShower RV water heaters and they have 66,000 BTUs of power, and they can heat 3.6 gallons of water per minute.
Now I'm going to go ahead and get some of this stuff out of the way here so we can get into the unit itself. Now, this is equipped with a high-quality heat exchange system and it operates at altitudes of 9,800 feet. It has an upgraded NIDEC fan with a 300 Pa of power. Now, this will provide water supply that's hot and winds up to 9 on the Beaufort scale, and it uses five burners adapting to the season and the mix tank will stabilize for extreme temperatures. So roughly, two rows of the burner flames out of the five will run in the summertime, and about all five rows of those burner flames will run in the wintertime.
You have a nice pressure relief valve and intelligent remote controller included. The remote controller is right here. It is wired, it gets wired up to the back, and I'll show you that in a second, as far as where it plugs in. You get a nice set of screws to assemble that front door and everything in place. And of course, some foam to make a nice gasket for stabilizing everything.
Again, you have the white or the black, I left the white one on here. To open the door, you simply pop it up, rotate it, and at that point, you can then carefully, obviously this will be screwed in place, I don't have it screwed in right now. That would be able to open for you to access everything inside. I'm going to go ahead and pull this door off just so it's easier to see for us today. And I'm going to set that aside.
So, first thing, you have the pressure relief valve here. Again, 150 PSI pressure relief valve. One cool feature that I like is, on that drain hose, they also put this black plastic tray. Now water's diverted out and it's not getting back inside of there, which is a great feature. And of course, you got your switch over here in white. And again, everything here is included as far as mounting hardware, the remote, and the gasket. It does have internal safety components to protect you and your family and the RV. You have an included filter screen that helps remove large particles of dust and sand. And it uses a built-in forced exhaust fan as well. Come around the back, you have your hot water hookup, your gas, and on that side, you have the cold water hookup. And here's your wires, two for power and two for the remote to plug into. It also uses an automatic gas shutoff in case of flame failure, and it has built-in antifreeze protection. Now, those doors that I was showing you that come with the two different color options are a 15-inch by 15-inch. The unit itself is 12-5/8 inches tall by 12-5/8 inches wide. As far as a depth, I get different numbers when I measure, depending on if I measure to the back of this to the front, I got about 14-15/16 of an inch. The whole thing with the door and everything is roughly about 17-1/2 inches deep, give or take. So keep in mind those measurements are kind of fluid, if you will, because there's so many protrusions on this and it's kind of hard to get a straight edge on everything, get a precise measurement. But that should give you a range to know confidently that you're getting the right thing to fit your door space that you have on your RV, camper, and whatnot. And if you have any questions about this or any of the products that we carry, reach out to us. We'll be more than happy to assist you as well. So again, make sure you're picking out the right part number for the correct color door that you're looking for. That's going to wrap it up. I'm Steven, have a good one.
I am pleased with the performance. Missing from the box were the male connectors from the heater cabinet to the controller. The controller had the female connectors attached but the male's were nowhere to be found. Why they were not affixed to the cabinet wiring is a puzzle.
