Features to Know About

Modular Fit

This armless recliner gives your Thomas Payne theater seating a second wind after it's seen too many movie nights. It slides in where your old center seat used to be, or adds a new spot with a drop-down console and built-in cupholders so you can keep your favorite drink close by. It connects with sturdy metal tabs that keep everything lined up. Whether you're replacing a tired section or adding another spot to your loveseat, it blends in like it's always been there.

If your current recliners have a few seasons behind them, the new piece may feel firmer or show a slight color difference where the sections meet. For a consistent look across every seat, check out the full three-piece setup.

Video Transcript for Review of Thomas Payne RV Couches and Chairs - Heritage Armless RV Recliner Satula - TP83AR

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a look together at this Thomas Payne Heritage triple reclining RV couch. Now, if you've ever wanted your RV to feel a bit more like home, this Thomas Payne Heritage triple reclining RV couch is going to really be a cozy upgrade for you to consider. Now, this is modular, and you're gonna be able to get this all as you see it now with three pieces, and by modular, I just wanted to show you real quick that each piece is going to be able to easily connect. There's tabs there in the metal frame there.

So you're just going to line them up. And what's nice is you don't have to worry about any hardware or anything like that. So on your screen, I'm popping up some numbers here because there's some different ways in which you can pick this up. So obviously, the first number there is the couch. You're going to get the left arm, the center section, also called the armless, and then the right arm.

So, you see the part number for that one. But then you can also get this as a love seat, where it's just the left and the right arm connected without a middle section. Or if like you needed a replacement, you could get just the left, you could get just the armless middle section, or you could get just the right. And then we also even have an option where you can get the left and the right one with just a console in the middle. So, whichever option is going to work best for you, take that number, pop it in the search field of our website, and that will take you to the particular option that you're looking for.

So, this is going to be a very comfortable couch and very easy to use. And each piece here will recline. So, let me give you kind of a slightly lower angle view here. And the way to get this to recline, is you're going to have what I call a ripcord. Really, it's a handle that's going to be in between the arm and the seat cushion.

So you've got one here, you've got one here. And then for the center armless section here, you've got the ripcord right here. So, you're just going to give it a pull, and then that's going to allow the footrest to come out. And then you can just recline, just like that. So very easy to use. And the built-in footrest is going to have what we call a shoe protector here, with Thomas Payne's logo on here. So as you can see, I still have my shoes on. This plastic sleeve is gonna protect that upholstery from dirty shoes, but this can be removed if you don't want to keep that on there. So, that's not going to be a problem. And then to close this, you'll just use the back of your legs and push back firmly, and then you'll be back in the upright position. Now this upholstery is designed to look like leather. It's not leather though. This is what Thomas Payne calls PolyHyde vinyl. Very durable. It looks great. The stitching here really does give it kind of high class look, if you will, makes it look extra-special, if you will. And this is in that Satula or Satula color. We're debating here at etrailer, the best way to pronounce that, and I'm probably pronouncing it the wrong way here. But really, the color is like a medium. It's a dark brown color. I'm kind of looking at my monitor here and I think you got a pretty good representation of what this looks like. So again, like a medium to dark brown color. It may be, ever so slightly has a hint of red to it, but it's a beautiful color. It looks rich, it looks luxurious. And even though this is vinyl, it doesn't feel like cheap vinyl material. It is very comfortable. It's soft to the touch. And more importantly, I think it's gonna be very easy to maintain as well. If you spill something on it or something like that, I think it's going to clean up really well. Inside you have a high-density foam. And what I like about these pieces here is they're comfortable, and you do have that that sinking in feeling to where you feel like you could easily relax and maybe even take a nap. But it's still firm, it's still supportive, and that's what I like in a chair. I don't like to where you just sink down and you feel like you can't get up. You do feel supported in the back (footrest bangs) and at the seat as well. So, it's gonna be very easy to get up from. Now, I wanna try to give you an overhead view here as well. So, we're looking here at the middle section, and then I am going to pull the back down. (chair bangs) I hope you can see here we do have some cup holders here, and a nice surface here (hand tapping) to maybe set your phone on, or maybe even a laptop or something like that. So, if you got nobody sitting in the middle here, this middle seat, the armless section, the back does fold down. And that's pretty cool. I do like that. And then it's very easy just to get that out of your way, just like that. And now, minimal assembly is required. I would recommend before putting this together, it's probably a good idea to take it into pieces, into your camper or RV and then put it together. But basically, each section's gonna come in its own box, and all you really have to do is slide the back into the base, and then just tab these pieces together. It's gonna be very easy to assemble. No problem at all. Let me give you some measurements. So, looking at the overall width, when everything is together from end-of-arm to end-of-arm, width about 75 inches wide. And then overall depth when we're in the upright position, right at about 36 inches deep. And then the overall height when it's in the upright position, about 39 inches tall. When you have this reclined, from the top of the headrest to the bottom of the footrest, about 64 inches end-to-end. Some of our neighbors like to know the measurements of the seat itself. And this is going to be true of each piece here. So, looking at the depth of this seat, we're sitting at about 22 to 22 1/2 inches deep. And then looking at the width, about 21 to 21 1/2 inches wide. And then the height from the top of the cushion to the ground, right at about 19 1/2 inches tall. So this is coming from Thomas Payne, and since it's from Thomas Payne, it's going to be designed for the rigors of going down the road in an RV or camper. So, unlike your residential furniture, this is built to handle the rigors of RV life. And it's going to not only be designed to stay in your RV or camper, but give you that comfort that you are really looking for, that you're used to from your furniture at home. Now, if you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this or anything else that we carry, don't hesitate to reach out, because ultimately we wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name is Andy. Thanks for joining me.
