Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at this Thomas Payne pushback RV recliner with footrest. Now, if you're looking to make your RV a little bit more like home, this pushback RV recliner is gonna be a great option for you to consider. Now, this is specifically designed for RVs, which means it's not gonna be as bulky or heavy as regular household furniture, but this is still going to give you that same cozy, relaxed feel that you would expect from a nice living room chair. And giving you a slightly closer and lowered angle view here, I just wanted to kind of give it a spin just to kind of show you all the sides.
But typically people will buy a chair like this for a few big reasons. It's going to be comfortable and it's going to be durable 'cause it is made for life in your RV. And it's a simple way to upgrade from the basic seating that often comes standard in campers and trailers. And this fabric is going to be easy to care for, and I think it's going to blend in with virtually any type of inside the cord that you might have inside your RV or camper. And this is a manual recline, so all you have to do is push back as you saw.
And thus the title of the chair, of the description of the chair. So this is going to be very easy to push back. While we're here, I just wanted to show you that we do have a shoe protector here on the footrest. It has has Thomas Payne's logo on there. So as you can see, I obviously still have my shoes on.
This plastic sleeve is going to protect that fabric from your shoes. But you can cut this off if you so desire, but typically I would probably leave that on just to protect that. And so what's nice about this manual recline is you're not gonna have to worry about plugging this in or wiring or anything like that. And this fabric is called, and the color is called Dellmead and it's a woven fabric, so it feels pretty soft, feels kinda like home. Something you would have in a home, a piece of furniture for your home.
So it adds a little bit of an upscale touch, I guess, too, if you will. And I know a lot of times the color is hard to communicate over the camera, but if I we inchesre to describe this, I would say it's kinda like a soft, warm, beige color with some hints of a darker color, maybe a little bit of a flex of black and gray, and maybe even a, I'd say more gray than blue. So, like I said before, I think it'll go with virtually anything that you have going on inside of your RV's living space. And so this is built to handle life on the road. It's built to handle the bumps and vibrations that come with being inside of an RV or camper. Overall, it's pretty comfortable, and I do prefer fabric over that vinyl material. A fabric to me is a little more comfortable. So I think this is gonna hold up really well for you. And you do sink a little bit into it, but it's gonna be very easy to get up from as well, which is something that I really like. Let's talk measurements. Looking at the overall length when it is in the upright position, we're sitting at about 37-1/2 inches long. The overall height from top to bottom, again, when it's in the upright position, about 39 inches tall. And then the overall width from end of arm to end of arm, about 27-1/2 inches wide. In regards to the seating area, we're about 22 inches long and 21 inches wide. And then when you have this fully reclined from top to the end of the footrest, about 63 inches long when it's fully reclined. And this is relatively light for what it is. It weighs about 70 pounds or so. So it's not gonna be terribly heavy. Minimal assembly is going to be required. So when you pull this out of the box, I'm trying not to shock myself with static electricity, when you get this out of the box, if I remember correctly, you will have to put the feet on, which you'll just screw the feet into the base and then you'll slide the back into the base of the chair. And then these have what I call like little wings. Those will slide into place as well. So you'll have this put together in no time. I appreciate the fact that you didn't really need any tools or anything to put this together.
