Hi, everyone, Steve here with etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the RV Designer GripSafe Handrail. It's gonna give you 27 inches of assistance in white. So, folks, obviously this would be standing up like this and it would be on the wall of your RV or camper. And what's great about this is it's very sturdy. You have this nice grip here, which has been improved from their previous designs. It gives you a nice texture on it, so your hands really grab it really nice.
It's very ergonomic, the design and everything. You can see kind of the ripples, and like I said, your hand just naturally kind of goes around them no matter where you grab it, which is really nice. And then, of course, metal as far as the bar itself. And this is in a white powder coat finish, so you don't have to worry about rust, corrosion, or anything. Of course, you're gonna get your hardware for mounting it.
You're gonna have four holes on this side, four holes on this side, and then you're gonna have these release buttons. You'll push that down, and then when you push that down, that's gonna allow you to rotate the handle. Now, obviously, again, this would be mounted to a wall, so it's gonna be a lot easier whenever it's in place, but basically you push the button on both of these and then you'll be able to fold it over flat against your RV wall, camper wall. And then when it's time to use it, just gotta push that latch again, they'll pop in place, lock in place, and now you can get up and down your steps in and out of your camper RV with ease a lot safer. And the good thing about these wider, larger bracket bases here is these should fill up and hide an old hole pattern that you might have and that's gonna be a great upgrade as well from your previous handrail that you're replacing with these.
And, again, you do get all the hardware. You do get a drilling template as well on some nice heavy duty card stock that comes in the box. That way you can trace exactly where you need to drill the mounting holes once you decide where you want it. So, again, folks, this is a great option for you. It's gonna lock into place.
It's a patented latching design that's gonna hold steady whenever it's closed or open, so you can collapse it when you're going down the road and it's not gonna be sticking out, wasting space.
