Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this RV Designer Brown Dual GFCI Outlet with cover plate. Now, this is going to be a replacement ground fault circuit interrupter outlet that's designed for RVs and other 125-volt electrical systems. It's main job is safety. If it detects an electrical fault or ground fault, it's going to quickly shut off the power to help protect you and equipment from electrical shock. It does feature two outlets, as you can see here, so you're gonna be able to plug in and power two devices at the same time, whether that's chargers, small appliances, or other electronics.
The outlet is designed to work with common RV electrical systems that use either the 15-amp or 20-amp overcurrent protection. And installation's gonna be pretty straightforward because it comes with this cover plate, and the mounting hardware as well, so virtually everything that you need to get this installed. The brown finish also makes it a good choice for RV interiors with, let's say like darker cabinetry, wood trim, earth tone decor, it's gonna help it blend in rather than stand out like white wood or a brighter color like that. This outlet is UL listed, meaning it has been tested to meet recognized safety standards that can help support the code-compliant electrical upgrades or repairs.
