So, a privacy latch like this will keep your interior door secured and in the closed position, until you push the button to then get the spring little keeper back open to then open it up. So, it's pretty simple concept. You get the hardware included, obviously, mounting fasteners. And this brown latch should blend in with standard interior door, hardware colors, pretty universal.

Close to the original, but with a little work it's great
