Today we're going to take a look at the Jensen 500 watt 10 inch diameter marine subwoofer. It has a sealed housing design to specifically designed and tested to withstand unique challenges in the marine world such as humidity, salt air, exposure to UV rays and extreme temperatures. They do use nickel plated copper terminals, insulated tinsel leads and they do use a binding post wire connectors here for spade or pin style connectors. Our RMS power on this is 250 watts, maximum power is 500 watts, frequency range is 20 hertz to one kilohertz, ohms is 3.2 ohms. Voice coil is 50.88 millimeters, does come with the grill and the mounting hardware to install everything. Comes with a nice template, mounting template that you can see it shows you how to measure off and cut out where it needs to be installed.Overall dimension on this diameter from edge to edge is going to be right at 10 and a quarter inches wide, overall height is five and a quarter inches deep.

I tried 3 different speakers from Amazon. None of them work. I bought the speakers from etrailer work perfect.
I gave them 4 starts as the box they came in was not the original box. It was marked 6 1/2 inch and the box was all beat to hell. They repair the box before shipping with several layers of tape. I tossed the box so I don’t care.

Speakers are what I expected, maybe even better. I would have wanted the screws to attached the speakers but I am pretty sure I have some lying around.
The speakers sound great. The hole in my Kodiak was a little small so we had to sand the hole about 1/32 large.
They were good speakers, but they were not Jensen.

The speakers were good but there were no mounting screws and mounting gasket which should automatically come with the speakers. I was very disappointed with that.

Perfect replacement for dual cone Jensen that came on my fifth wheel. The separate tweeter gives much more extended response and because it’s the same exact size, installation is a breeze.
