Video Transcript for A Closer Look at the Furrion Chef Collection Propane RV Range in a 2025 Brinkley Model Z Fifth Wheel

Hi everyone, I'm Evangeline here at etrailer. Today we are taking a look at the Furrion Chef Collection RV range with oven. This specific one is gonna be 29 inches tall as well as in the color scheme black. It's available in different sizes and different colors, but we're focusing on how this fits inside our 2025 Brinkley fifth wheel. Now, you may not have this exact fifth wheel, or this exact oven, but maybe you have a different setup and you're looking to upgrade or replace your current stove and oven combination. So we're gonna talk about some of the features of this specific stove.

Some things you may need to consider when you're using this in a space with other appliances, and we'll also do a quick little run through of some cutout measurements, things like that, that'll help you figure out if this is the best fit for you and your trailer. There are a bunch of different stove cooktop range options for RVs. It's really important to get an RV-rated stove or cooktop just because of the power that it needs, the fuel that it gets, as well as it needs to be built to last inside a trailer that is being towed. Now with that in mind of all your different options, your Furrion Chef Collection range is gonna be (metal clanging) very heavy duty. You've got this metal grate on top, which can support your larger pots and pans if you're planning on cooking large meals, you have your family, you have your friends, and you wanna prep for all of them.

This is gonna be the way to do it compared to some other stoves that are designed to be more compact than they're designed to be as largely functional. This also has one of the largest stoves for your RV ranges and stove combinations. With this being the 29-inch tall unit, that means you have plenty of space on the inside for cooking. You have your different wire racks here, depending on what you're planning on baking. Now, when it comes to the exact specs and the exact cut outs or interior dimensions, double-check our website for that.

The main thing worth thinking about is this is gonna be great for pies, for baking cakes, for large casseroles. You're gonna have the space for that. All the different functions of your oven. You have your easy to use knob, so you have the oven light button right over here. You have the option for adjusting your temperature here on your oven, and then you also have these different knobs for your burners.

Now your knobs can be turned on or off for the lights. I like to keep them on. And then to use them, this is just a push in and that creates the spark on your range, and you can also adjust for your different gas right over there. That's the overall gist of the range as well as the stove. What's really important too, is how does is fit with everything else, and that's gonna be the point of our test fit here at etrailer because it's not just about your stove, it's about what is your vent up above How far is that from everything else So if you take some measurements here, if you measure from the top of the range to the bottom of our over the range microwave, that's gonna be 17 inches away. So plenty of space there for even your taller pots, and then you'll still be able to vent things out. But then you also have to think over here for your island, or if you have chairs or seating area, can you still bring your oven door down So measuring from our oven to the end of the door, that's gonna be, let's say another 17 inches. Now we have our slides out right now here in our Brinkley fifth wheel. So that's what gives us this space here. We wouldn't be able to use our oven otherwise. So if you have cabinets or an island here, will you be able to open one or the other This is what that's gonna look like. So that's just something to think about when you're not sure if this is going to fit inside your own trailer and in your own setup. Feel free to send us a question and we'll find out together. On taking up space, you have the option to add onto this space. Furrion has matching door drawer covers. So if you wanted to have a drawer underneath for your pots and pans to match your oven, you can find extra parts like that right here at etrailer. Since this was already installed inside this Brinkley trailer, everything looks good. All the appliances, all the cabinets, all the lights, everything works together for a really cohesive but also functional kitchen. If you're trying to kind of copy the setup for your own trailer, something to be mindful of with the installation of this stove oven range setup is that in the grand scheme of this appliance, it's pretty simple. It's just a slide-in installation. You do have to be mindful of the cutout dimensions, and those are right here on our website for you to just cross-reference with your own trailer. You're gonna have your trim that goes over everything. You're gonna have to connect to your propane as well as your 12-volt power. That's gonna happen behind the stove. This top over here, this is removable if you want to. If you feel like this is too heavy or in the way for you, that can just lift up and out. Also makes it easy to clean up. And this is also available in stainless steel. So you can get black, you can get stainless steel. You can get this larger 29-inch version, or you can get some of these smaller versions, whichever works best for your trailer. It's just nice to know that once you have all those connections, it's a pretty simple install. Hopefully this video is helpful for you. As someone who's had to shop for her own appliances for her place and trying to figure out which one's the best one and what actually fits, something I really care about is making sure you get a really good quality appliance that fits in with your whole situation. So if you're trailering, you're towing something, you want an appliance that's durable and is able to handle all that extra stress that it wouldn't have if it was a residential oven. But you also want something that's functional. So if you're planning on having a bunch of family, a bunch of friends over and making sure everyone gets fed, this is the type of stove combination that would be helpful for you. If you're looking for something that's more compact and more lightweight, we have those options right here at etrailer. And if you're not quite comfortable with, let's say, doing the installation all by yourself, we also have a local dealer network where you can reach out to one of our partner dealers that's near you and then they can handle that installation for you. So with all that being said, if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. If you like this stove or you prefer something else, I'd love to see that review. Even send a picture of your own setup if you are replacing something old with something new, just like the Furrion Chef Collection stove range oven, two-in-one setup that you saw right here at etrailer. Now you saw this all inside our 2025 Brinkley fifth wheel. My name's Evangeline and I hope you enjoyed this journey.

  • Is Furrion FTRD22LA-SS Discontinued
Hi Ian, based on the fact that Furrion discontinued parts for that oven it is probably safe to assume the oven itself has also been discontinued. I can't say for sure since it doesn't look like we carried it specifically. Are you looking for a replacement for an existing oven?
