Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a real quick look at this Dicor Tufflex PVC RV roofing adhesive. Now this is a water-based acrylic adhesive that's made specifically for installing PVC roofing membranes onto moisture absorbent roof substrates such as compatible wood or insulation boards. One of its biggest advantages is its extended open time, which gives you extra time to position and adjust the membrane before the adhesive sets. That's going to be very helpful for achieving proper alignment during installation. And this adhesive is going to spread easily over absorbent surfaces, making the application smoother and more manageable.

This is a single one gallon container so that's going to cover aproximately 160 square feet. So it's going to be easy to estimate how much that you're going to need before actually starting your job. I do want to point out that its main limitation is it's only designed for moisture absorbent substrates. So this should not be used on metal or fiberglass surfaces or for bonding one membrane directly to another, including rubber to rubber or membrane to membrane applications. As long as it's used on the correct kind of substrate, it's designed to give you that reliable bond for PVC roofing membrane installations while also giving you as the installer or whoever you have installed this a little more working time to get the membrane positioned correctly.
