Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Let's take a look at our Dicor seal tire rooftop accessory install kit with butyl sealant and putty knife included. So folks, this is gonna be a kit for your rooftop accessory sealant. So whether you're replacing maybe an AC system maybe you're replacing a vent, skylight, et cetera, this is a great kit that's gonna have both products that you're gonna need. You're gonna have two tubes of the lap sealant and this is a white self-leveling lap sealant to go around those penetrations to the roof. And then you have of course this butyl rubber sealant and it's a flexible waterproof sealant that's great for sealing seams, joints, gaps and metals, roofing where two different kind of materials kind of come together.
And again, made for outdoor applications. And of course you get the little they call it a putty knife. I call it like an applicator tool. It's kind of beveled on one end here. And then the other end's kind of like straight for smoothing out and that kind of stuff.
So you got that little included tool and this kit honestly should be enough to do a couple different vents and those kind of things depending on the size obviously. But you're probably gonna get a couple of them at least with this kit installed again, depending on how you use it and those kind of things. Always remember to use according to the instructions as far as how you're using it, temperatures and all those kind of things as well. But again, you're getting two tubes of the white self leveling lap sealant and one tube of the buter, butyl rubber sealant. A lot of times this butyl rubber sealant, you're gonna see this as like a butyl tape, they call it.
And a lot of times you kind of peel off a backing and stick it. So this is kind of interesting to see it in a caulking tube. Works just the same way but you don't have to worry about peeling stuff off and doing that kind of stuff.
